Replacing Epiphone SG standard nut

Is there anything special I need to look for when replacing the nut? I use regular 10-46 gauge strings.
I was thinking about this one:

The XL in the name is throwing me off. Does it matter?

I think in this case, XL is "extra lubed." Seriously. It's not extra-large. I put this exact one on my Les Paul and it's been excellent. Expect to file down the back/bottom to proper height for your action.

Just check out the width of your neck at the nut and you'll be fine.

Graph-Tech nuts are great! Like many have mentioned, check the width of your neck and you will be ok. Use a repair tech or a luthier if you are uneasy doing that yourself. Epiphone lists the specs of their builds usually as well. Good luck!
