We are all guitarists here. And let’s be honest, we don’t go to the studio every time we want to play. So I’m curious.
While setting up my new guitar corner in my room I got curious as to what the rest of you guys use and how you have your area set up.
So this is my new setup. I got those amps wired with a power bar behind them. Got that old bookshelf at a yard sale and it fits them both perfectly. The computer is to play with the Fenders settings.
When it comes to guitars themselves I have a blue burst crescent (My very first guitar. Gift from my mom when I was 8) That I played and beat to shit until the pickups fell into the guitar. I could never fix it but by then I figured it was time to retire it.
Then I got a black Peavey that I picked up at a yard sale for $50. Played it for a year until the pickups stopped working. Now when I plug it in it squeals at me. So I retired that one.
Then I got the orange sunburst Fender “Starcaster” (Cheap strat) that my mom picked up for me at a garage sale when I was 15. She got it for $5 so I sure as hell didn’t argue. It still works and I play it daily. I got a set of heavy strings on it for some songs.
Then my baby. I got a Schecter Diamond Series. That beautiful guitar is the newest addition to my collection. Bought it a month ago for $250 and it sounds wonderful. It’s by far the best guitar I’ve owned and I plan on using it on some gigs here soon with the band me and my friends are starting.
