Thank you everyone for the feedback! I was honestly the most nervous about Papa’s section because I know that he has a huge sense of humor, and I wanted it to be funny. But I had to really think hard of something funny to throw in there that would be appropriate (it was actually my singer’s idea). When I got the video we watched it at least a dozen times and I couldn’t stop crying with laughter!
You all were OUTSTANDING. There’s a reason why I wanted to do this video for him AND for all of you.
When I saw A7X in Wichita, KS, I was accidentally in the wrong seat before the show and I was SO close to the side stage. I had to move. At the end of the show Syn went over to that exact area and tossed picks out and reached out to the fans. My singer asked me, “Do you want to rush over there and try to get a pick or shake his hand?” Needless to say I just stared and had to force a smile and say, “No. I’ll get my chance someday to tell him how much he’s inspired me.”

And it’s the most amazing feeling in the world to get the chance to tell someone how much they saved your absolute passion when you thought there was no purpose anymore.
