I agree that sticking to just one resource isn't a good idea, but I want to have 1 main one supplemented with others.
Otherwise I think I'll find myself jumping around making no real progress!

I have been here from the beginning..for me it was the way pappa gates taught the lessons..in laymans terms so i could understand them..i have seen this school grow and morph into something im proud to be a part of..if you need help there is no end to people that jump in and help..thats what families do

Speaking as an absolute beginner. The only reason I actually committed to buying and learning guitar was because of this website. I knew these lesson structures were the one when the very first lesson was teaching you how to properly hold a guitar and a pick lol. Though the internet is a wonderful place these days, it can be hard to organize and self teach yourself while tracking your progress. This website helps you do that. The best part though is that it’s all free. I know I have that legendary banner at the top but that was me wanting to give back to the community because of how much information and free shit I got out of this website and community. I’m repeating what a lot of others have said but I think it deserves to be said over and over again!
