With those Bands on the list, I see it as a compliment to be on that list.
When you are that successfull then U usually have more fans than haters - by a lot. So technically you've proven that Nickelback is one of the best Bands of all time

You have to be extremely successful to be so hated. I almost expected to see A7X on that list - they are both successful and polarizing.

I was expecting to see A7X there too (which would make me LIVID).

You know...I kinda hate these lists more than the bands themselves. I mean, any sensible musician knows that all of the bands on there have some talent and even more success. Ffs, Kurt's "Things have never been so swell/And I have never failed to fail" is...peak vocals. There aren't many people who can beat those vocals.

U2? People hate Bono because he's kinda...in your face with his politics. I know...believe me, I fully understand why people dislike the guy. Their music? It's fine, easy to consume. I never got the hate for Limp Bizkit or Creed. As for Nickelback...hating them is mostly a trend and I honestly don't...get...why.

It's the same with anyone who has success. See also, Lewis Hamilton in F1 (far from my favorite driver and does have a tendency to say stuff that makes him look like a hypocrite, but an amazing driver).

Yes, I agree. Not your cup of tea doesn't justify hate towards an artist, that hate probably comes from something else instead I think. If you don't like an artist just don't listen to them
