There was never any reason for Buckcherry to have billing over Avenged. Not just saying that as a fan, either. I remember that show - most of the crowd left after A7X. By the middle of Buckcherry's set, the arena was damn near emptied out.

I honestly rarely understand billing that well. I saw A7x at Pinkpop in 2014 and they where on before Metallica on the mainstage. However on the initial bill they where below Arcade fire(who headlined the second stage) and Stromae(who played somewhere in the afternoon on the second stage). Arcade fire kinda made sense but Stromae does not.
But here's the weird thing, back in 2011 they played the same festival and headlined the second stage like arcade fire did in 2014 but where a lot lower on the bill.

Weirdly enough, I've never heard of Buckcherry, then again, I don't follow many newer metal bands, but I won't call Buckcherry a metal band. Some of these billings are just damn weird, Greta Van Fleet was meant to be supporting Metallica on a South America Leg of the Hardwired Tour, now that is a weird bill. It got cancelled right enough with Papa Het's rehab stint, would have been interesting to know what sort of reaction they would have got.
This might very well be the greatest comment of all time. I thought that Buckcherry was the name of a local pimp in downtown Miami!

Both, of course, but I was referring to living in SLC with that comment.
