This one is not really for me, I'm not guitarist focused enough in my music.
BUT HOW CAN YOU HATE THIS??
Always wondered, what's your opinion on Glenn and KK, Ed?
Yeah, KK is a different sort of player, he loves that whole whammy, dive-bomb thing. I do quite enjoy his solo on Victim of Changes though.
I'm so incredibly happy to see some mutual love for the boys of priest! I personally like K k's lead playing but that's just because it sounds so the shrapnel and blistering even if it's sloppy lol! He just has a mad pick attackGUITARIST I HATE: That asshole that plays for Rage.

Lol! A lot of people could fit that descriptionA guitarist who thinks they are "all that", hmmm … could you be possibly talking about a Swede?
I think he has like 3 ok/great songs but most of the other ones sound like a 15 year old who just learned the harmonic minor scale and realize he/she/it can play fast 'hey mom look at me'*plays the harmonic minor scale up and down really fast*Lol! A lot of people could fit that description, seems like Yngwie is unpopular on this thread. I actually have no idea what he's like, I've never really gotten into his music.
Exactly! He's incredibly talented and definitely had a key part in revolutionizing guitar back in the day while helping lead the pack in the creation and early days of Neoclassical music. But goddamn can he be an ass. Especially when he starts going into a fit.Yngwie revolutionized a genre and created what was a hugely popular sub-genre in the process (neoclassical). There are NO two ways about it. He was about as influential to a generation of guitar players as Vai, Van Halen, Syn, or anyone else you could name.
