So, wasn't planning on posting this today (Or at all, tbh). Originally wanted to do more work on NRtD and cover some sweeping lessons, but had to prioritise this for college.. Just a rough practice attempt at "The Drug In Me Is You", using bar chords. It's not entirely correct in terms of exact chord placements or rhythms, I did simplify it a little. Still though, a good exercise for getting used to bars and stretching my hand (More painful than I imagined though, RIP hand). There are lots of mistakes and my phone vibrating at the start, which isn't ideal, but I liked the sound I got and it wasn't overly terrible, so here it is!
Skipped ahead and watched the bending lesson, and Ids’ awesome video and have been practicing. I’m going to make it a daily goal to practice just bends for a little bit each day 😊

Hey! I've posted on here before, but I just want to say I would greatly appreciate if you could check my channel out and leave a like! Thanks a lot!
We had Quarantine Jams, but why not "full" concerts? Basicly choose a couple of songs and play them front to back, without a cut. So here is the setlist: Bullet for my Valentine - Don't Need You - Hand of Blood - Room 409 - Waking The Demon Bonus: Trivium - Drowning in the Sound I think I got too carried away sometimes, but I think I still did pretty well, considering I was barely able to play one full song without messing up at the end of the year. Also first time hearing everything recorded. Hope y'all enjoy and maybe jump in too with your own Quarantine concert! \m/
Take 1! Here is what i was thinking thus far, this is for aprox. 3:25 - 3:44. Let me know what you think

Hi all, pretty shy about posting this, with speaking also in a video, never done it before, but I feel good here, so lets go for it :) Im practising on bending, a lesson by papa Gates. Bending and vibrato are pretty difficult to me (to hear if im in right note), but i just keep on practising to get it better. Feedback appreciated
Me and Bill have been talking arps, and he introduced me to a bunch of different shapes and the notes in the etc etc, and he said they're great to sweep. So, I'm practising sweeping using one of syns etudes (forgot which one tho!) I'm aiming to get this as clean and well timed as possible, so practising it real slow!
Me and Bill have been using Basket Case by Green Day to help with theory. We have been talking about triads over the correlating chords and so here it is! just a short clip as I fuck up, lose it then start again... its a long process but so fun!

AKA "Why you shouldn't slack for nearly 2 months." Skip to about a minute in for actual guitar, I ramble again. I know, it's crap. I've been slacking real bad,and it shows - BUT I did learn up to the solo! Turns out, my tiny, slim fingers do actually have some reach to them! I know the notes, I can reach them, I just gotta stop panicking, relax a lot more since I'm so tense in my right arm, and go back a few steps to using metronomes and going real slow - I skipped a lot of steps in my eagerness to learn this. I rushed too much. It shows. Don't be like me, folks. But anyway, here's progress. I'm gonna really try get back into my routine of playing consistently again. I was doing so well for about a month!
Check out this song from my MetamorphaLies EP
Dunno if this should go here since it's a cover. Been getting into Poppy lately, love her new album so I decided to cover this one. Hope you like it!

Yesterday I posted my first day of working on pentatonic VI. This is day 2. I'd estimate I spent 45 -50 minutes yesterday and about 40 minutes today before shooting this video. A lot of times I will let myself learn it up to speed a little sloppy and once my hands are use to the speed THEN I will back down to 60 or 70% and really focus on perfecting it. And then slowly work up to 85 or 90 over time and then drop back down to maybe 80% and eventually I'll get it to 100%.
This is 150 BPM. It sounds annoying but is great for alt picking! Now just to get this speed perfect!
Bill Hudson has teached me so much its unbelievable! I'm so happy @[5:@Jak Angelescu] took the time to tell me what he was like as a teacher and person and it didn't disappoint! heres an exercise.... start with one key, i.e, C, and go down the first major scale and up the next and keep going till you get back to the first one after the 12th fret, now go BACKWARDS along another key and repeat! I went c, to G , to E. It's tough. I'm doing 130BPM at 2 notes per beat. It's a work in progress but i find its real fun!
I played around with some ideas and came up with this. This is my first test how it would sound up to speed to the backing track. I haven't practiced it enough yet, so there are a lot of hiccups and some wrong notes. But I have a good idea on how this might sound like once more polished. What do you guys think? @[398:@Filip Tomiša]
I started to learn this awhile back and it was too difficult so I gave up. But I’m trying again. Question : as you see I am kind of “flicking” two strings....I remember awhile back reading about and seeing a video for this but cannot remember what this is called! Does anyone know ? It’s like, since the strings are beside each other, instead of finger picking them individually I’m doing a little flick.
Kinda nailed it, kinda butchered it, I'm not too sure myself. Also Dancing Dead is probably my favourite A7X song
