jam

trying some new stuff, i tapped it on my phone, some parts I moved around and copied. the video was for fun trying that too. i didn't use a metronome and i kept forgetting the notes when trying to record the new secti0ns i'll try next time to write down some root notes for reference

honeysuckle Rose

I learned 2 solos over Honeysuckle Rose. One by Robin Nolan and one by Django Reinhardt
Not quite there but will be soon…
“I had an entanglement”

Playing at random

another video of random playing trying to get the creative flow going to write some songs for the band
Playing whatever comes to mind at 160 bpm this is probably one of my favorite ways to get something written and get the creative flow going

bass idea

i recorded this to remember the idea for later. Theres a ton of ideas in my head already for the guitar parts to add to this.
Some of you may know me from 8-10 years ago playing A7x songs on my YT channel. Here is my brand new cover of Nightmare, 10 years after I originally covered it \m/

River

I decided to learn river by Leon bridges. I love the female vocals in this song so tried to add some higher VOCs myself but no clue whether I succeeded in that really 😅
It's been quite some time since my last upload and activity on the forums, but I didn't forget the School! About a year and a half I started working on sweep picking, I recorded myself and posted the video here (https://synner.com/media/my-progress-on-the-advanced-introduction-to-sweep-picking-lesson.3007/). At this time, it was a very hard technique for me so I didn't really work on it. I decided to come back to it two or three month ago and I tried to practice more efficiently, training the two hands separately, with a metronome and while recording myself to hear what were my mistakes, and I improved till I could follow 100 BPM. Then I decided to make a second video today so I can track my progress, and maybe get feedback from you guys.

Literally not long since learnt this First time go A couple of mistakes but hey I’m pretty pleased Thanks for looking
There's a lot of mistakes, I'm working on getting the palm muted upstrokes to sound more even with the down. Also one section has the palm mutes open at awkward spots for me and doing it with alternate picking/strumming is tricky still. The scratchy part I should do the opens with down stroked and not up and down like how I did it here, at least that's what I think. I could play it a little better but it's late and I was sleeping all day cause mad. The tab I got from ultimate-guitar.com. I posted something to try and get back into the habit and not care, thanks for watching!

signe

It took a while but I learned Signe by Eric Clapton. It's a pretty tricky one but lots of fun!

HTTK Solo

accidentally deleted the last one so here it is. Avenged sevenfold has been one of my favs since I was just a lad

Lydian Shred Lick

It's all in the title, would love feedback if you have it!
Learned the intro to roman Sky by ear by watching a7x play it at the Grammys. I start to trail of and play my own stuff once I get to the chords but it's been a while since I've uploaded anything so I thought I'd share this.
So..it's been a while. I have been in just the most horrible of moods, and just an awful mindset as of late, and it was because of that, that I lost the fire for playing and so I just took a bit of a break from well everything. But I'm back, and hopefully in a better mindset. I wanted to do a simple song to ease back into things and get back into playing, and I have been listening to a shit ton of Rammstein lately, so I figured why not cover one of my favorite songs from them, Ich Will. Now I apologize for the audio being off-kilter in some sections and just kinda off, I still don't know what I'm doing when it comes to audio syncing sometimes. But this was fun to do, and was a good way to ease back into playing!
