I was meaning the chord shape mostly, mainly the Gm shape part at the start and end is new. I tried applying some 1-4 spacing diminished scale to one of the chords and it seemed to work but not sure if I got that here.

first attempt at improvising over a chord progression. any advice or feedback is appreciated

Not sure if I'm doing the drumming part right, I have another move I forgot to record. There's 4 strings on the guitar, E-A and G-B I tuned it with a mix of voice and the 5th fret. Practicing double stops, I plan to get new strings but not sure when. Haven't been practicing, the drumming I had it better before a few weeks ago. Having trouble with multitasking.

It's been like two years since I posted on here, but I hope everyone is doing well. 😃 Love to see how much the community has grown. This new album is insane, I personally love it. Tons of new styles mixed in with the classic heaviness we're all familiar with. "Easier" in particular might be my favorite song on the album, being that it's kinda heavy, short but sweet, and this riff. I can't get it out of my head. I'm in Drop D flat / C# but I believe it can be played in regular drop D as well.

This has been my focus for the past few months. This being my new and current band of friends I’ve been playing with, but this time im not behind the kit and instead I’m not only guitar but lead vocals as well. Very much out of my comfort zone, but it’s something I’m determined to gain some amount of skill at. I’m now able to play and sing at the same time without completely freezing up, and I’ve been contemplating on taking some vocal lessons online somewhere as well. Just wanted share some of the stuff we’ve been working on 🤟🏻
