Spoonman Guitar Solo Cover

I really like this song. I learned this solo a while ago, and now I'm posting it to keep the ball rolling. I would gladly accept criticism.
“Don’t worry about me”- Django Reinhardt: Opening solo
Django Reinhardt’s birthday just passed and I posted a solo of his that I transcribed, on my Instagram. There are a few players that have had massive influences my musical development. From Synyster Gates, to John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, and a few more really had an impact on me, but Django Reinhardt might be the most influential on me. Because of his music, I’ve played with amazing musicians, attended awesome concerts, learned how to play jazz, and bombarded my girlfriend with 1930’s swing music for countless hours.
Nirvana has always been one of my favorite bands (even wearing a Nirvana shirt today 🤓) so when looking for stuff to play I tend to kind of gravitate towards them. The current project being All Apologies from their In Utero album. I'm mostly putting this video up here to encourage other beginners to do the same. Don't be afraid to post stuff even if you make mistakes (and I make plenty in this video...) Feedback / tips / tricks are welcome as always 😊

And One

Soooo its partly a cover but I added 2 verses and completely changed the bridge so its 50 50... Hope you like it :)

The Wicked End solo

One of my favorite A7X solos, contains some very unusual patterns! ^^

Frustrated =(

I'm learning the major scale...and I can play it slow. But any attempt to speed up, even a little, is a disaster. What am I doing wrong? Any tips for this beginner on how to improve here? CC always welcome!!
One of my favorite parts of this amazing song. Please feel free to correct me if I made any mistakes,.. also tell me if I can improve anywhere? 🤍

Hail To The King Solo

I started learning this a few days ago. It could be better of course, but at this point I just want to post something. I know getting my foot out of the door will prompt me to post better things going forwards.

Revelations

Besides the couple brain farts it went pretty well and like always I kinda take some liberties with the solo😅
I gave up on this solo last year like...3 times? But it came along in the end. Cheers for perseverance! Never give up!
A damn hard one. Started working on it 1 week ago. First Syn solo I’ve tried. Still a loooong way to go but I have the gist of it anyway. (Idk why I always pick the hardest things to learn 😂🤷🏼‍♂️)
comments includes twitch video of me figuring out my arpeggios for every chord in the family for b flat. I then play the rhythm for the improv video. It does not include the lead hence this video. Its a long video, but I go over every single caged system position for all the chords in b flat family. Which is essentially your Cmajor family in standard tuning. I'm going to continue to use these positions more and more and will continue to post videos surrounding random chord progressions involving these chords. Excluding the diminished for now. I'm hoping to get suggestions but eventually ill just use all the ones I can find on google. my self critism is to follow.
Just my favourite song and my cover :)
LELE - Black G (Album)
Hi guys, this is my first soloist album recorded 2 years ago with my own two Schecter Synyster Gates Custom S. Hope you like it 🤘🏻🎸
Nearly Spent DFS Acoustic
Acoustic solo I wrote for a song of ours, super proud of this one, I got lots of cool riffs and solos on the album hmu & let me know what you think

Sweet child o mine

I bluffed part of the solo but here's me playing sweet child o mine. Feedback is very much appreciated!
Not sure if this is rock or not, but I'm putting it here. A few mistakes and I'm not at finger picking or speed stages yet but it's coming along. I was feeling camera shy, hence the mask.
E minor improv

E minor improv

Thoughts? just me lettin it out in e minor some pretty cool licks in there help me to 500 on ig @darealryanv
I started working on this song just before my grandpa passed. It’s a song that has taken on quite a profound meaning to me. I’ve always loved Hizaki since I was younger and never thought I’d even be able to attempt one of his songs, yet here I am trying to learn it today. Dedicating this to @[5:@Jak Angelescu] always watch for a ray of light darling. She’s always been my number one.
This reminds me of animals as leaders style, the combination between the maj7 arpeggios with half-diminished arpeggios

SGS Instagram Contest Entry

Hi everyone! I'm Beatriz (you can also call me Bia) and this is my entry for the contest! It's my first video here (hopefully the first of many). I'm a beginner and I'm new to the School, but I'm already loving being a part of this! I am very shy and I was sooo nervous to record this but I did it anyway 😹 So here are some things I would like to point on my video: 1 - Sorry for my English! 2 - Don't mind my grumpy face on some frames (specially when I was playing, I was so focused 😹) 3 - Shoutout to my sister Amanda, she really saved this video of being a complete mess 🙌🏼 4 - I know I talked too much! So here's a quick guide to the most important parts of the video, with timestamps: 00:01 - Introducing myself 00:45 - Lessons I used, why I used it and what I've learned from them 03:15 - The Riff/Song 05:29 - Things I love about the School 06:24 - Music aspirations I loved participating on this! Thanks for this opportunity! P.S: I know the cat totally stole the scene 😹😹
Learning to use the CAGED System better I'm tuned down a half step from E Standard
