In this lesson, we discuss basic chords and what chords are part of major and minor scales.

2 years after I performed it for the first time, I managed to bring out the song with a live band! It was magical :) At this point, I was using a Synyster Special, modded with a Sustainiac.

Another throwback to 2014 with my Syn Custom-S white w/ black stripes! It was my first time performing in front of thousands and it was sort of last minute and kind of impromptu but it was a great experience nonetheless :)

This was 6 years ago. Me and my buddies performed for a school concert. I owned a white Synyster Custom-S with black stripes back then. Excuse the background and sound. Budget was tight xD And we were all still pretty new to the stage. So excuse our stage presence as well haha

Literally 20 minutes ago I got the sudden urge to make a video and decided I wanted to play a green day song! So I literally learned this song in 10 mins and did this video lol I decided on this song cuz I find it so catchy and wanted to do a song most people wouldn’t know. Enjoy!!!

I can play this a little smoother now. But, this is one of my favorites.

Progress update ! Excuse the screeching, I was late coming into the chorus and singing helped me get back on track a bit. Also, I really want an acoustic amp, but I think you guys can still hear me okay. There’s a few spots I stop playing and start again, fingers got a little crampy haha.

Got this awesome schecter a while back, finally got around to fixing the switch so set this thing up to be my doom guitar in C# standard with not even slinky strings (bit harder to hit those pinches it seems). Recorded through hearing aid so sry for shit quality lol

Tried for the first time to play standing up, well...I have to work A LOT on this 😂 It felt super weird and some chords turned out sorta palm muted, messed up a lot too. But yeah, this is my first attempt, it can only get better from here! Have a nice Sunday SGS fam 🖤

Well guys, been a while since ive posted a cover. This song is so fun to play. Not perfect by any means but it took me awhile to get it to this point, and it feels good to have it where it is. Been really working on my picking hand technique, sweeping, and changing pickups for certain parts(looking at you for that one @[5:@Jak Angelescu]) Hope you guys like it!

Haven’t felt like play lately but started learning this last night a little bit today. It’s one of my Favorite AIC songs and kind of fitting for the moment. Wanted to share progress and also upload to keep myself accountable and to finish what I’ve started. As always, constructive criticism is welcome. A few things I’ve noticed already: I know my timing is off right now (just trying to get the right notes and fingerings) I have a hard time transitioning from the E minor chord to the F power chord, and at times I’m not pressing the strings hard enough (got lazy with the electric I suppose lol) and that slide is wonky haha. Also, I’m not sure of the strumming pattern but I’m going to watch some live videos and see if I can get it.
