    Looks like I need to swap my 11rack for AXE

    @andrew both Ghost and Metallica use it live for sure. I have an eleven rack and honestly I think it’s kinda poop. I bought a Kemper and love it but with the Axe FX 3 I tempted to buy it once it drops to 2,500. It’s 3,500 right now unless you get on the wait list or just wait till it drops.

    As much as I am not the biggest fan of the digital stuff I can’t lie I am eyeing the Axe-FX 3. I have a kemper and it’s the only thing holding me back from joining the fractal wait list.

    I gotcha. I know little tube combo’s can get spendy too. You could still try a tube screamer or I know a lot of people like the TC Electronics MojoMojo. For the more metal stuff I know people like the Boss ML-2 Metal Core. Hopefully some others will chime in with what they use and like.

    What kind of amp do you have? I’ve used distortion pedals but mostly I don’t care for them. I like the gain from a tube amp and then use a tube screamer to push it.

    Here is a good guide for what gauge strings to use for what tuning. I would still recommend a setup when changing tunings.

    Anyone here ever played a Walla Walla guitar? I have my eye on one but just not sure if I should get it. It looks amazing and has nice specs but I have never played one or even seen one anywhere. They are not cheap either.
