    Check out the MXR Dynacomp. I think you can get that one for 80 bucks on Amazon and it’s pretty nice. My favorite though is the Keeley Compressor Plus and I think they have that one on their site for sale right now for 130. I love that pedal and the people at Keeley are awesome.

    Neck through vs bolt on necks

    Congrats on the guitar! I own both and love both. Neck throughs will give you a little more sustain. Bolt on’s are great too though. They worked for Jimi, SRV, and countless others.

    Hmm it’s hard to say. The board is always changing but I have an Orange Rocker 32 which has a stereo fx loop. I would say I can’t live without my Keeley Compressor plus and the Boss DD-6 and Boss CH-1 with the Ditto in the fx loop is amazing sounding. I could really just have the compressor...

    Haha going way back for me… I think it was Ode to Joy over and over then I remember staying up through the night working on the first riff from Jump in the Fire by Metallica. I can’t remember how long it took but I do know my parents hated me for a few months.
