    I don't have a headrush, but look for something with an amp sim based on the 5150 Mk3 and a 4x12 cab loaded with Celestion V30s, for starters and that will get you in the ballpark.

    I'm terrible at aping tones, but if I remember right, he's got a pretty heavy compressor on there and maybe a tight delay? Might even be a tiny bit of flanger or phaser with the "mix" very low. This may or may not be helpful. :)

    Wasn't session work - he was a writing, recording, touring member of the band. The one album and tour I know he was on was "Screw It!" which had some solid material, but he's since mellowed into a crazy chill tone monster.

    Yep. Just confirmed the latest version is good with FM9. Older formats can all be converted to newer ones with Fractool. You just can't go the other way (Say, AxeFX3Mk2 back to AxeFX2XL+) because new features.
