Best songs of all time

Don’t get me wrong Queen is a great band and everything. But I hate the fact that whenever their biography movie came out recently, all of a sudden everybody was doing Queen covers every 5 seconds and then now they are selling their shirts everywhere in stores and they had like 20-something songs on that list. You also have people that hardly ever listen to Queen suddenly listing them as one of their top influences for music. It makes me wonder if those songs are really classified as some of the greatest songs of all time or they just threw them on there because of the current trend with that band.

I’m not talking about what song made #1 I’m talking about the fact I find it ironic that Queen has literally almost 20 songs on that list and from all of these lists in the past from all over the world, they usually get three songs on there. Just noticing a trend. They never had that many songs on any list and now that the movie came out, they’re getting this many songs listed.
I agree with @filip 100%. It is fun to see which songs the most people listen to but in the end there is no such thing as “best”. I mean, what about metal and jazz? There are some really awesome gems (at least in metal, can’t talk for jazz) that I would always name before even thinking about queen. Music is all about personal taste. 
I’m sorry I’m gonna be a bit of an asshole here. This is the list of last year https://www.top2000nl.com/top-2000-lijst-2017/ that’s still a lot of Queen even though that movie hasn’t come out yet. Also realize it’s 2000 songs and usually best anything are about a 100 songs. Also, more than a million people vote for this so if you do good in this list you can definetely say a song that’s doing good is generally considered a good song. It’s not random in any way. Your own taste can differ from this but generally speaking stuff where about a million people vote is a pretty solid way of defining the best. Do you have to agree with it? No but also I can’t even properly decide a best song/artist if I would make a list like this for myself so tbh out of all the list there are I would say this is kind of the most properly done best of list there is instead of a group of 5 journalists ranking their favourite songs. Also, I’m sorry but Queen are seriously complete geniuses and a song like Bohemian Rhapsody should always be mentioned when talking about the best song of all time(whether I would say it is the best idk but it’s one of the best for sure!)
