So i got an idea to make a game where one person links a video of them playing the solo (without any backing track) and everyone else has to guess it, and the first one to guess the solo has to upload his video of another solo and so on(it can be any solo).
If everyone is clueless about a solo, the player may give some hints.
Hope this works

Im gonna start lol

John Mayer is a HUGELY talented blues guitarist. I prefer his style over Joe Bonamassa quite a lot, but John has two personalities – the guy who makes the money crooning for the ladies (“Daughters”) and the guy who packs houses with a blues trio.
If you start with Pop-John, you may decide you don’t care for him.
If you start with Blues-John, you’ll love him. I recommend starting with John Mayer Trio’s album “Try!”

Yeah there are definetely two side to John. I got into him for the most because of the trio stuff and am slowly starting to appreciate all his pop stuff a lot more!
I would probably recommend his live record ‘where the Light is’ first because it gives you all his different stuff and some really good covers (Tom Petty, B.B.King, Jimi Hendrix and Ray Charles)

Forgetting happens sometimes. It is one of my favourite albums of all time to be honest. Yeah you also have videos on YouTube where he jams blues with B.B. light and the is awesome! I do get that blues John mayer attracts players a bit more because that’s how it worked for me at first as well. I basically ignored him at first because I only knew pop John mayer
