It's called the Hirajoshi scale in "A" If I remember correctly. A pentatonic scale that I occasionally Mix with the A minor pentatonic here

Yes! Trivium used the Hirajoshi scale on Shogun, giving it that Japanese feel. Personally one of my favorite scales in music.

I didn't even know that. I looked for a japanese scale cause the strap was for matt and I am a huge Trivium Fan but I didn't know that was the actual scale they used
