3 Notes per string - Vertical - D minor
Welcome to Pentatonic Etudes. These are some of the most helpful exercises in the world to get you extremely familiar with your Pentatonic scales.
I feel that these are very unique because we are utilizing 3 notes per string which facilitates the use of Economy Picking much easier than the traditional 2 note per string patterns that are taught most often.
The Pentatonic Scale is unequivocally the most used scale in the world. It’s the obvious choice for Blues and Rock, but it’s often found in Jazz, Country, and surprisingly a lot of Classical music especially during the Romantic Period.
These exercises are a must if you want your Pentatonic playing to stand out amongst the rest, have fun.
