I got this guitar when I got out of the hospital but never really play on it so I figured today I'll play on it a little bit and wrote this little ditty. The guitar itself is dusty and the strings are very old so kinda badly intonated (I'm waiting for my package form Thomann to ship) As for the music, what it is is something that's a mix of E harmonic and E melodic minor(Em|B7|Cdim7|A7) with an F diminished thing(which can function as an E7 so V chord ) leading up to something in A harmonic minor(Am|Dm|E7|Am) where at the end I put a little A7 to lead back to the thing in E melodic minor. At the end there's a C diminished thing(as sub for B7) that leads to it resolving on Em.

I wrote this song a little over Month ago and finally felt ready to share it here. Mind you it's just a demo so pretty much everything except the chord progression is subject to change(improve) and yes that also means the lyrics. Some feedback would be very much appreciated and I hope you enjoy! Don't worry it's not a goodbye to the school or anything, love this place to much for that 😅😅

Rough demo of my new original I am working on. One guitar only, no Metronome. Only played the "main" riffs. Finished song is to have two guitars with more backup riffs. Proud on this one cause it was the first take and a one take! I think this gives a pretty good idea where the song is going. It's all finished in my head but until I recorded everything for good it will be another while. Still not quite there yet. Wasn't sure if I should keep the parts you haven't heard yet secret and surprise y'all when it's done but I figured I'd share.

I wrote the lyrics last night The music in the backround is from I Hate Myself - Song 3 ( just found it the other day ) I looped a part I liked with the app on YouTube and tried to copy it some Sorry about the long video, it's me trying to develop this I guess and didn't know where to edit it Trying to use my mouth more, making weird movements It kind of fits with my other song, so that's probably good any feedback is welcome I'm waiting on a new electric guitar cable, so couldn't use it :/ I need to change it later when I can use my DAW, cause it's not my riffs

Hi! this is my video for the SGS instagram contest. Well, sorry if my english it's not good but tried my best, i have to practice more. So, the lesson that i choose was the major and minor chords (lesson 17) and some things about the CAGED system (lesson 30) i used all this things in my riff, also with some embellishments and some arpeggios with the pick. I used Am, Em and D (major and minor chords) Bm, C and D (caged system). This is my video and i hope you enjoy it, and sorry again if my english it's not the best, but i tried :D

HI, here is my video for the IG RIFF CONTEST, sorry for my english it´s not my first language but hope is clear enough to understand XD. I based my riff on lesson 48 (Introduction to building chords) & lesson 49 (Building More Complicated Chords) in order to create a cool progression and playing a solo over it. I was a bit anxious/nervous about showing my face on camera so I look a bit twitchy. Lol. I meant to say that Jimmy Page inspired me to want to play electric guitar and Syn inspired me to learn it.

This little composition is based on 3 lessons: The 3-1-3 Economy Picking Lesson Alternate Picking And The Exercise From Hell (Lesson 75). The first riff which is the main riff combines all of them this techniques into one riff basically. I practiced this lessons heavily for the last week and that is the result. The tablature for the main riff is: D ------------------------------4-7----------------------------7-4--- A -----------------------------6------------------------------------6- E 5-7-8-5-7-6-5-7-8-5-6-7-8-----5-7-8-5-7-6-5-7-8-5-7-8------8 And then it is modulated and repeats itself. I would glad to hear what you guys think about it and I hope I got the concept of the contest right haha (English is not my first language...) I like the school because I like Synyster Gates's guitar work and find it very inspirational. The school does great job at explaining and helping guitarists improve their performance. My dream is to be a full time musician. I sing and play guitar.
