Hey guys! So I've been practicing every single day for at least an hour and a half, and it feels great to be consistent. I looked at economy picking a couple of times throughout the past year, but always got frustrated and gave up. Well not this time! I've decided that if I'm ever going to get anywhere, I'll have to put in the work on my weaknesses. I started this economy picking exercise a week ago, around 70 bpm. Today, I got up to 135-140. Obviously it isn't perfectly clean, but I'm pushing the limit so I'll take being close. Tomorrow I'll try to get this tempo clean, and push it a little farther once again. Any tips on how to eco pick better, or anything you see wrong in this vid is appreciated.

We'll see how this fits in. For possibly the first time ever in a lead, I made a chart of the key I wanted to play in (A minor) and, here's the real trick - I stuck to it. I also tried to incorporate a MOTIF from the blues lessons; first in the middle, then to wrap up at the end.

Wanted to do some rhythm work since I've done lots of solo stuff, and ended up here. Wanted to give myself a bit of a challenge and man did I get one! Here's my first attempt at the intro for Heretic! It's messy particularly at the end of the intro where I can't quite place the notes, but not bad for a first go, and I know I will get it with a bit more work!! Also, I really need to get better with using the metronome, I keep going too fast! It's a good song to work on though, great with the 3-7 and 1-5 stretches, as well as working on picking as it's a weird one! Any tips appreciated! Cheers Also - that last bit of constant (1-2-3-4-nope... 1-2-3-4-nope...) I apologise you had to watch the same thing like, 6 times XD

I took @[398:@Filip Tomiša] and @[477:@Ids Schiere] advice and added a section to the solo to a) have the end melody not come out of nowhere and b) have the slow tapping repeated three times before it goes into the fast part.

I wanted to find a track with everything but the acoustic, but couldn’t find that so I had to settle for just vocals. Thought this might be a fun way to practice rhythm. 😁

Definitely some mistakes in here, but it’s getting there

It's been a year since I started posting on IG to track my progress on guitar and I was watching some old posts. One of them was this 1st solo of Fade to black. This is a video comparing one year ago with the last one I posted here. I want to say THANK YOU to all of you that have been helping here, because the progress shown here is because of you guys :)

My first full length song I wrote. This instrumental is titled The Descend Of The Golden Dragon and is featured in my official Making Of video for the custom guitar strap I made for Matt Heafy from Trivium. All guitar parts were recorded by me, using my modified Schecter C1 Classic with Synyster Gates pickups, into the Boss Katana 100 MKII, directly into my PC and Reaper using USB. Thanks to Chris, Andrei and Aileé for helping me making this song happen!
