Guitar Solo (Original Song)
Here is a Guitar Solo I wrote for a Song of my band (Something I'm Not)

with a bit more practice, i probably could have managed the lead in a single take but i was eager to move on and, really, just happy i figured out how to get...
Improvising over a Pink Floyd Backing Track in D Minor
I havent been active on this page since forever. However, recently I really got back intro learning new stuff and I started to take the advanced lessons on this site. My sweep picking and economy picking has improved through this
So I wrote a little more to my song I dubbed "New Age" for now and I wanted to have it in a dual guitar context. Currently I have 2 Verses and Choruses and a Bridge that leads to a solo but I did not write the solo yet. Sorry that it's all a little off timing and sync wise but I am excited to share my progress on this with you guys!
Revision of my initial solo for the Syn Gates student collab. Just made a move across my state and between that and the job I haven't really been able to do anything I enjoy, so BIG thanks to Filip for the deadline extension! As always let me know what you think! Ps: (IK I muted my first tap in the beginning of the section, will have that cleaned up for the final recording).

Progress For Northtale "Bring Down The Mountain"

This is my progress so far with the new NorthTale song :) I present it to Bill on Saturday and I decided to do it on my own to see if I could learn some things by ear with with what all he has taught me. I know the key signature, the chords and the scales being used (thanks Andrei!) . As always feedback is much appreciated! I also chose this song because there is a lot of arpeggio work, down strokes and bends throughout and those are all the things he wants me to work on.
I can honestly say this is the most confident I’ve been playing. It’s not perfect, but I’m damn proud of it 😊 Hammer on’s/pull off’s and slides are definitely getting better I think.

Apologies if I sound really tired at the start XD So, the audio isn't the greatest because at parts my phone is louder than my guitar, and you can't see my hand for the last part of the intro, but here's improvement! While warming up today, I got really frustrated because I started picking up on and realising all my bad habits and how bad they really sound (Letting notes ring, poor muting, picking wrong, wrong notes, poor timing etc) but getting the ending of the intro right did bring me back up a bit, so there's that. Hoping to try and get this up to speed and try to sort my timing out, it's really kicking my backside!

Hey all. Lesson 50 inspired me to do a 10 day workout program focussing on triads of the major scale (for now: G Major). In the lesson, PG plays the arpeggiated triads of the chords within the key of G major staying in one position of the scale (a CAGED position, not 3NPS). The seven basic triads of the key are: I: G ii: Am iii: Bm IV: C V: D vi: Em vii°: F#dim The workout idea is as follows: Day 1 - All triads within first position, ascending backing track Day 2 - All triads within first position, descending backing track Day 3 - move to next position, repeat The goal is a melodic exploration of the keyboard, not timing or speed... other exercises are for that. At least for now! After the ten days, the workout can continue in various directions: Start mixing between the positions, start including extensions like 7 chords, start exploring different keys... The overall goal lies in gaining a deeper melodic understanding of the keyboard.

Been working on the blues stuff for a bit. This is my first attempt at an original blues song with a motif. Nothing too fancy but the first time for me to bring a melody from my head to the guitar. I call this little tune "All I want". Tell me what you think!
Hello all, here is the first song that I fully covered. 16 hours of effort. Hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching.
Ontem foi o Dia Mundial do Rock! Então resolvi fazer essa homenagem a um dos criadores desse estilo tão amado. Espero que gostem! \m/
Back to the basics. Playing to a metronome, technique practice. I feel like my hand synchronisation gets better but I have problems adjusting to a metronome. That one bit where I got really fast was me being really relaxed and realizing I could go faster there. Also first time I focused on a six string sweep. Still pretty rough.

Blues SGS collab

This is my composition for the Synyster Gates school collaboration verse 2. Hope you Enjoy!
Hey guys! So I've been practicing every single day for at least an hour and a half, and it feels great to be consistent. I looked at economy picking a couple of times throughout the past year, but always got frustrated and gave up. Well not this time! I've decided that if I'm ever going to get anywhere, I'll have to put in the work on my weaknesses. I started this economy picking exercise a week ago, around 70 bpm. Today, I got up to 135-140. Obviously it isn't perfectly clean, but I'm pushing the limit so I'll take being close. Tomorrow I'll try to get this tempo clean, and push it a little farther once again. Any tips on how to eco pick better, or anything you see wrong in this vid is appreciated.
We'll see how this fits in. For possibly the first time ever in a lead, I made a chart of the key I wanted to play in (A minor) and, here's the real trick - I stuck to it. I also tried to incorporate a MOTIF from the blues lessons; first in the middle, then to wrap up at the end.
