    Advanced Use of augmented arpeggios?

Right on. Altered scale is an acquired taste and really not used much in pure Gypsy. It gets you quickly into Be-Bop if you're not careful. Harmonic minor can be used over everything - as you have found. It has such a distinctive color that you can overuse it very easily. Love that you can hear...

    The Minor 6 Arpeggio - Lesson 109

OK. Let's take the Am6 arpeggio - which is what I show in the lesson. It works over Am6 (obviously) It works over C Major (with the caveat that it has an F# - which is a #11 or b5. So keep in mind the F# will sound "out" unless you have a Major chord with a b5 or #11. Definitely has a Lydian...

    Backing Tracks

I don't think the backing tracks were meant to follow the tab. They are just put there so you have something to practice to.

Overview of Legato Technique – Lesson 87

Yes! Most pure Legato players have a really light touch.

    Advanced Use of augmented arpeggios?

Absolutely! And don't forget the E Phrygian Dominant over the E7. (5th degree of A Harmonic minor) And if you want to get a bit more "out", there's always the E altered scale (7th degree of F Melodic minor)

    Advanced Use of augmented arpeggios?

Yes! E7+5 arp works great over the E7.

    The Minor 6 Arpeggio - Lesson 109

Yeah. You're missing something. Not sure exactly what you're saying. Gm is relative to BbMaj. So you can interchange those. Fm6 has nothing to do with Gm or BbMajor. However - you can play a Fm6 over a Bb Dominant7 chord - Bb7, Bb9, Bb13. Make sense?

    Advanced Use of augmented arpeggios?

Well now you're getting into jazz. You can use it in a lot of places, but let's start with two. Firstly, it can be used over the V in a II-V-I situation. So Let's say you've got: Cm7 - F7 - Bb. You can play a Cm7 arp up, then a F7+5 arp down, and finally a BbMaj7 arp. Works great when your V...

    Backing Tracks

In the process of building the new site, we lost some backing tracks. I think I have them all up and running again, (fingers crossed). So EVERY lesson should have at least one backing track to jam with. Also - I just finished uploading the backing tracks for Syn's Pentatonic Etudes. He recorded...

Overview of Legato Technique – Lesson 87

I think hammer-ons & pull-offs is a great place to start - but you're right, with some players, (like AH), it is much more subtle. He was certainly doing "pull-offs" but they were much less aggressive - much closer to just lifting the finger (as you mentioned). It's going to be different with...

    Minor 6th/ Dominant 9th Arpeggios - Lesson 12

Not exactly sure what you're asking here but - Gm6 arp works over C9, Em7b5 & Gb+7b9 (or any Gb7(altered) chord As far as Bb goes - I suppose it could be used over a Bb13#11 or a C/Bb

The Dorian Mode – Lesson 61

The easy answer is yes. D Dorian is a C Major scale starting on the 2nd note. But (and this is important) the D Dorian scale is a minor scale. It has a b3 & a b7. It has a distinctive sound all its own. It just HAPPENS to share the same notes as a C Major scale. That may seem like a small point...
