    The song is very nice, groovy. But I am a bit confused. Is it really Syn’s voice?? I mean….There is a certain smoothness in Syn’s voice as we have seen in all the backing vocals. And honestly I like that. But this voice has some grain to it which I can not associate with syn.

    Thick vs thin picks

    I went through the insights given here and found it very interesting. I use .71/.58 picks…I try to be a fast picker and I find thicker picks difficult to handle. But definitely many heavy metal guitarists use thicker picks to be able to dig in the tone and put more punch to it.

    Kudos to you Dylan just for choosing Afterlife Solo. I will agree with Jak. Still practice it, but go slow with it. That solo has a lot of techniques in them. So obviously it will take a long time to master it. I will add one link. It’s Syn’s very old video on youtube, if you notice carefully...
