    Zacky's Red Guitar

I've come to be a jack of all trades, but I have more Ibanez (four) than anything else. I had a Schecter 7 string for a while, but I got rid of it. Never got into 7s.

    Zacky's Red Guitar

    Helluva lot better than 10Gs.

    Zacky's Red Guitar

Oh now this is something interesting. A clearcoat quilt on a Syn model with stainless frets? https://www.schecterguitars.com/guitars/artist-models/synyster-gates-fr-qm-usa-signature-detail

    Zacky's Red Guitar

The US site does - I just went here: https://www.schecterguitars.com/guitars/artist-models?artist=Zacky Vengeance - Avenged Sevenfold The ZV models are all between $950 and $1050US. That's more like it. The model in question is $999.00, so I'm calling it a typo (bad decimal place).

The lessons are not meant to be one and done. They are made to be re-watched as many times as necessary and you can build homework into your practice off of them. Jak is the queen of that.

    Zacky's Red Guitar

There is no guitar on earth that is WORTH $10,000, except to someone who will never play it (historical guitar for collector). If someone was selling a Zacky for 10k, it was probably one that actually belonged to Zack, and it's still not worth even half that much.

    Syn's White Picks

There is no upgrade or downgrade. It's whatever feels (shape and thickness) and sounds (material and thickness) best to you. You have to be honest with yourself on that. What other people use is a good starting point for experimenting and trying things out, but ultimately, pick choice is very...

We have detailed files. Check the beginner lessons for theory - building chords, the major scale, CAGED, etc.

    Syn's White Picks

I lied. I landed on the 1.41 or so Ultex Jazz III picks. Semi-clear piss yellow and all.

    Does A7X enjoy some Hip-Hop!?

First heavy hit of the Chorus section comes in like THUNDER. That's where it starts, and if memory serves, it's only under the chorus.

    Does A7X enjoy some Hip-Hop!?

There is some sub-bass in there, yeah. Totally a hip hop thing.

Clean, good form, and in time. And you've got Vai's stage fan blowing your hair the whole time. Can't be beat.

    Does A7X enjoy some Hip-Hop!?

Oh God, I hope not. Rich white suburban dudes experimenting with hip-hop is not high on my list of things to not cringe at.

    Does A7X enjoy some Hip-Hop!?

Considering that they all bought nasty grills with part of their CoE advance, I'd say there's a good chance.

Agree with Dominik. For the most part really solid. I would say the two areas of improvement here are around timing (not getting ahead of the beat in some places) and vibrato - the fingers make the notes from your brain, but the vibrato is where the HEART comes in, and while you've made great...

The playing is fantastic, and your tone is awesome, but it doesn't seem like the solo track is synced up correctly with the backing track?

I don't know the song, but it's a cool riff that's definitely outside the stock playbook. I like the quick pull on that low E octave right in the middle.

What are you currently listening to?

When I was at the Periphery show n February (#lastconcert), I saw an ABR shirt, and the back said something like "Angry music for happy people" and that resonated with me, so I looked them up. I kinda dig these guys, even though I don't really KNOW any of their stuff cold yet.
