    The important thing to remember is, there is no correct pick for a certain style. If it works for you, use it! If what you’re using doesn’t work, try others until you find your favorite!

    Yeah, listen to Ids☝🏽 Develop that pinky strength as early as you can. Because if you don’t, you’ll wish you had later. Not saying you can’t do amazing things without your pinky, but 4 fingers is always better than three🖖🏽

    Thanks for the tips guys! I struggle with the painfully slow stuff…. is so painful! But I feel this is the answer to my issue. I just need more discipline. I always want to speed up or start noodling lol

    Matt Heafy’s signature is awesome, but I would probably lean towards the ESP. Or like the others mentioned above, the Solo series from Schecter. Schecter really puts a lot of value into their guitars. You get more than you pay for compared to other manufacturers.

    I do a lot of alternate picking. One thing that’s been helping me lately is to start on a downstroke instead of the up. But I’ll definitley check out that Paul Gilbert song. Never heard it before I don’t think
