Blindness Allowed · Song · 2021
My band dropped a brand new single today! Here's the Music Video, hope you enjoy!
Afterlife is one of my favorite songs from the band Avenged Sevenfold. I did a full guitar cover for the rhythm and lead. Please suggestions and corrections. I'm still learning how to record, mix, and master. Currently, I use a very cheap audio interface, if I have mastered the knowledge I will replace it.
I just released this solo collab with a bunch of my Discord friends! Check the video description to see names and links!
I knoww your tired of hearing this from me -)

Helix Test

So recently I bit the bullet and purchased a Line 6 Helix - here's a test recording/improvisation using one of the presets I made :D Enjoy

Grips Of The Hallow

I think this is the song I'm most proud of writing. We just released it today. Check it out let me know what you think. Also feel free to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
Original Riff in the style of A7X
A riff intended to sound like A7X (to the best of my ability and the inevitable influences of other music that I like). Used Syn’s Axe Fx cab pack (the stage ir to be specific) paired with the 6505 axe fx amp with custom settings. Used a syn custom guitar with syn signature pickups tuned to drop D. Two guitar parts. Bass is a schecter sls elite. Drums were programmed with GetGood Drums.
It's been a while since I've been on this site. I've been working on a project with my band. We are trying to put out an album and so far we have 4 songs complete but I think this one is my favorite. I'll post a link below to our channel for anyone who wants to hear the other songs and if you like what you hear then give us a follow please. We would greatly appreciate it. https://youtube.com/channel/UClz2tmkXjhlaQjSNzJ2uHnQ
¡Hello everybody! I'm starting in the world of music production and with what I know about the subject (because I think I still have a lot to learn), I was encouraged to record the solo for the final countdown, by the Swedish band Europe. I hope you like it. (I don't have the rights to the song).

IMG 0283

I've been feeling really creative lately and I haven't been recording anything, I did record this one though. I started with making 4 octaves (I think that's what they're called) and just filled in some notes. It was slightly better before recording but it goes like this pretty much. CAGED System Riff I think is cool, I'll share it tomorrow. I think I can somewhat wield it well now been practicing a lot of different stuff
My second output! Nothing crazy maybe, I wrote it as a backing track to another video I'll release soon. Still proud of it
Somewhat improvised solo with only the G string over a backing track I threw together in like 10 minutes
Funker

Funker

My own funk progression, I'm not good either
A string - backing track pop rock A major I didn't notice it was A major, next one I'm going to try some other sounding scale. Probably Diminished, I haven't done the lesson yet so I guess it would be cool to reflect on how I did later on. I got to get back on track with my playing. Already late otherwise I would have put it pretty loud. I haven't watched it yet

Random bullshit

Here's some random bullshit for everyone. Random bullshit counts as practice right? Co-starring a very indifferent dog.
Last, but not least... It did take like 8 days in the end, not 6, but anyway. What did I learn from this challenge? I would say, putting artificial restricitions like that made me appreciate more what luxury we have, being able to play multiple strings, haha. One thing that I will keep in mind: Improvise more often to just drum tracks, both rhythm and lead, without any guitar or bass already on the track. Having a strong rhythm as a foundation is actually more liberating than being stuck with a given chord progression. That being said, here is my last contribution to this challenge, gg. Might do this again some time.
