My pregame jam for game 3 of the play offs
Nothing planned this entire video is just me jamming to backtracks online. I wasnt gonna share but there's some neat runs in there.
Seven positions of a major scale - Lesson 58
It's been ages since I shared something on here, so here is me trying to get back into the swing of things. Tips & tricks are always welcome :) (Also here to make @[5:@Jak Angelescu] proud and fill up the Student Lesson Practices category a bit :D)
I've been using this as a practice exercise for a while now, and have found it really helpful to work on my hand synchronization, trying to really focus on keeping my right hand in even time. And since the number of notes per string changes, it gets pretty tricky trying to keep my pick in the right angle.

shittyworkblues

song 4. This would be my first attempt at the jazz side of the blues. comments for details.

FFO Avenged

As the title says this is for fans of Avenged. This is my band Faith in Failure, and Avenged is one of our collective influences. I feel like our song "The Fields" is our most Avenged like song at the moment. If you listen and like it it's the title track off of our new debut EP which is out now everywhere you can stream or purchase music digitally. I hope you enjoy and would love any feedback good or bad. Thanks, everyone! Cole
Lesson 79 Sweep Picking 01 - the pinky roll on the low E and A is hard with stumpy fingers..Please excuse the constapated face..

new thing

I was working on my picking hand wrist movements playing familiar chords and got this. Ended up changing the fingerings a bit towards the end of the original video which was about 10 minutes. You probably wouldn't want to hear the same melody for 10 minutes. The last part of the riff is a C chord and still need to figure out a decent way to end it. The basic chords are Am, D something, G something, C major. The D and G just moving some notes around and/or opening some strings. I thought it was pretty cool. I put electric guitar strings on my acoustic, they feel really loose. Thought it was the same thing
Music does not belong to me this is only for entertaining purposes only Any comments or critics would be much apreciatte itWhat song should I cover next ????...

rhythm practice

It's mostly rhythm practice from last week. Wasn't sure where to put it after reading about having a new section for media. Editing video is tiresome for me. I wanted to make practice method videos with quick explanations. Thought maybe those can help assist. Maybe someone wants to help. I feel that if the video is nice or straight to the point people will like it more.

Scream Solo Cover

Scream Solo Cover

Hey Guys. Here's my cover of the solo of Scream by Avenged Sevenfold, one of the most technical solos I have ever picked. Do Comment your valuable feedback.
So naturally I tried to learn the solo to Killing in the name of.
Sorry that it literally starts in the middle, I wanted to keep the video somewhat short but could not find a good starting point in my recording. It's been a while since I uploaded a part of my improv sessions. I've been working on my phrasing, and lately I feel that it is going in the right direction, but there is still a long way to go until I'm satisfied. This backing track inspired me to be a little bit more experimental and playful with non-scale notes, although I actually cut the part of my video out where I really go for chromaticism. Uups. Oh well, as always I appreciate any feedback.
