I freaking did it! I almost forgot, and I was about to get ready for bed but remembered I hadn't done the high E string yet. This isn't my favorite of the things I've played this week; the more I listen to it, the more it just sounds like a complicated 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star', but at the same time it felt like the conclusion to something, so... fitting, I guess! Thank you for bringing this challenge back around, Dominik!! This was such a great exercise!
First time using the guitar plugged on PC, couldn't be any happier

nevermore

song 5 on my next set of songs. This one stays on the blues side in a couple ways. explanation in comments.

New Guitar Day!

Got a little weird with this one but I liked the vibes. This month's album recommendations are gettin' to me in a good way I think, hahah.
Key of AM. Uses hybrid picking, minor progressive arpeggio scale, and scales runs. Has pop Spanish style
This one is picking up the d scale pentatonic with rolls and two scale fills
Learned the g minor scale and tried to play it without looking at tabs, this is what I get using his double string picking and sweep rolls
Day 4, the naughty G string. I have nothing particularly special for today, just a short idea. My tremolo picking definitely needs quite some work. :) Enjoy!
The tone was great (not) and that This Means War bend I swear wasnt on purpose but while I was playing it just appeared there and I couldnt do anything about it 😬😬
It took roughly 2 months to learn this and it is still not perfect XD
Applications for someone to pester me about sticking to my practice are now open LOL. I really wanna stick with learning this time. I'm starting back at the beginning again, because I have a horrible tendency to start, get distracted, jump way ahead, and then get very stuck. Today, I'm focusing on my favourite warmup, the Spider exercise (until around 3min mark), and talking about my technique and what I try to work on as I warmup. Tomorrow, I'm starting back on the lessons with some scales, working up to the Caged stuff again. I'm also gonna pick a new song to learn on the side so I can use the skills I pick up for something fun and practical, so that should keep me engaged! I'd love to hear any feedback anyone has! Cheers guys!
Hi everyone, this my cover of Seize the day ! I made the backing track a bit longer than the original and added a personal extented solo. :) Enjoy !! Feel free to give me your opinions, Bye ! (This Synyster signature is just amazing !)

G string time! This was fun and challenging particularly because I managed to do some continuous alternate picking. :)

Keepin' it movin' with the high (for me, in drop d) D string!
Practicing the first half of Bat Country. It has been roughly a month since I first started trying to learn this track. I still get so nervous when recording so there are some minor fuck ups in there, not to mention I still have no idea what I'm doing when editing these videos, but still an improvement over when I first started trying to learn it!
Hey I'm sharing my achievement of the sweep picking lesson IV tell me what you think about it!
