Bold as love

There's a bunch of bluffing Involved But I think I'm able to work my way through the song fairly well. As always feedback is very much appreciated!
Hello, this is my first video doing one of Syn´s tapping etudes i think it was like in 90% speed, I hope i will get better, i really like this exercises, they´re badass.

Just a clip from a jam sesh with my buddy last week. Enjoy!
Like 3-4 months ago I said that I was going to be more active in the Synyster Gates School and for those who care this time I will try to keep that promise XD. A few weeks ago I saw a Rick Beato´s video that made me realise that my daily guitar routine was obsolete for me so I rearrangemented it, i bought the beato book and I paid his ear training program. The last series of videos that I uploated here was different improvisations(in the same key,G major) trying to hit a note of the chords every time that it changes and through these three moths i´ve learned the chords and arpeggios in every other key. My main goals right now are improving my improvisation, improve my finguerpicking, learnig the diminished and whole tone scale and apply them, learn to sight read(i will not do videos learning this, tho XD),and improve my rithim and tempo feel. This time I will force myself to upload videos to have a register of my progress and to have recordings of my playing so I can hear my mistakes.
Hey so I’m back!!! Covid has been really rough for me the past couple weeks and I decided I was gonna take a break from the school and social media but now I’m back!! So here is my progress on bat country so far! I’m taking lessons with bill every other week and he asked what I was working on and I told him this solo and he said he would help me with it! Turns out I was playing parts wrong, no shock there since a7x tabs are so inaccurate lol so he corrected the messed up parts by ear for me and we started! He gave me easier finger placements and ways to play and that helped so so much! I got a long way to go but I’m so proud of myself!! Thought I would tell people that you shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help when needed! I was scared to ask for help with this solo but when I did it helped me improve so so much! Take lessons if you can and utilize all the tools on the school and you will improve so so much!!

Satch Cover

Joe is one of my favorite soloists. Always loved this song and wanted to lay down a cover that did it some justice.

IMG 2689 part 2/2

This was another segment I tried to work into a compilation of my playing from last night. I accidently deleted the final video but still got the pieces. I'm not going to redo it Practicing/Learning new/old things

YETW0417 part 1/2

I recorded stuff last night and compiled a video. I thought I saved it before moving/deleting everything to make space, it's gone. Still got the uncut videos but I don't want to edit it again. It's long and tedious, am getting faster at it so that's good I guess. I'm just going to share 2 of them and one more tomorrow maybe. I thought they were pretty cool, it's just random playing from the other night.
A little solo over All Off Me Robin Nolan wrote using octaves and chord. It's also part of my one month challenge so I guess it's one song down for that one. Up next John Mayer - Bold As Love 😅
It's from last night, I'll do another video in VII days. Started this 3 days ago again, took a day off cause I cut my fingers. Last time I practiced this was last Oct. The best take is probably at 7:24

This is a 1 5 4 6 progression. I moved the position up to the top of the fretboard and used the major and minor arpeggios when I felt like it overtop the chords. Getting a bit more familiar with the changes in positioning with each chord. Although I really only find myself using 2 positions I'm also using the major relative minor in those same positions. I guess I could move them around more. I'm at a point where km ready for something more. I'm gonna start trying to use altered chords in between. Have any you wanna suggest (sus dim ect..).

run away

2nd song im hightlighting off my 2nd set of songs I recently uploaded to spotify. This one is pretty simple and to the point. refer to comments to explanation and breakdown.

Rockstar

First off, meet fratboy Ids 🤣🤣🤣 Secondly, we all want to be rockstars, isn't it @[3987:@Dominik Gräber], so I figured I'd learn this song. I forgot/messed up some of the lyrics but ooh well 😅

improv88

this one is okay.. some good parts some eh parts.
Playing around with my new Epiphone SG, a little Acca Dacca seemed appropriate. A little rough, I only learned this today.

Black Sabbath Riffs

Can't play an SG and not throw down a few of Iommi's finest! Excuse the screw ups at the start 😆
Playing around with my new Epiphone SG, handles high gain pretty well🤘🏻

Been at this one for a while, but def worth the work
So, this is my starting point for the one month challenge. This song (the iconic intro riff in particular) has been a picking exercise for me in my early days of guitar playing (last year xD), NOW it is time to get more serious. My goals for the one month challenge are: 1) Tighten everything up, add details. Slash doesn't actually just strum the rhythm in the verses, he is playing a couple of interesting picking patterns, that I need to learn and implement... and of course make everything clean and tidy. :) 2) You will notice that the highlight of the song is still missing... the two main solos. Just learning the notes will be doable in way less than a month, but getting the fast parts up to speed and NAILING the phrasing in the melodic parts... That will keep me busy for more than 1 month, but I will try my best to get as far as possible. :)
Getting better. Close to being ready to work on the bridge.
