    I downloaded plugins and everything. I I’m thinking maybe the DAW doesn’t recognize the interface yet but I downloaded the drivers for it and that’s when I was able to change the audio device from Windows audio to ASIO.

    Ok. I went to settings, then audio devices and I was able to change the audio device from Windows audio to ASIO which I think I’m supposed to do. I tested it through my sound speakers and it worked. I just can’t figure out how to make sound come out when I plug my guitar into the interface

    Thanks Filip you’ve been a lot of help my dude. I’ll check out Tracktion and Ardour since they are free. I’ll try to get a amp sim like you said cause I’ll be using distortion, but how do I actually record the guitar parts? Is that where the audio interfaces come in?

    Sorry Filip I think I meant to say “app” not an online studio. I’ve heard of people using apps like Garage band and whatnot to mix your own music that you have made. I know garage band is for Macs but I don’t have one. I would need an app that is compatible with Windows.
