    Purchasing reaper

Yes, the $60 version. Now that V06 is out, that $60 license will last you all the upgrades for probably 6-8 years before Reaper 8 comes out. I originally bought v4 back in 2012, and I only this month had to pay for it again.

    Travesty!

Both, of course, but I was referring to living in SLC with that comment.

    Travesty!

That was when I lived in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was a dark time.

That would be "lostprophets." Look 'em up.

    Travesty!

There was never any reason for Buckcherry to have billing over Avenged. Not just saying that as a fan, either. I remember that show - most of the crowd left after A7X. By the middle of Buckcherry's set, the arena was damn near emptied out.

Who of you still buys physical copies of records?

Apple Music all the way. The last CD I bought was probably The Stage, and it's likely to stay that way forever. Even if I bought the CD, I prefer to stream it. At home, in the car, wherever. The Stage CD sits in the CD player in the car in case I have no connectivity or my phone is broken (I...

Can't seem to put mixer as interface in DAW

"Ready" just means it's correctly installed and working properly.

Can't seem to put mixer as interface in DAW

Under Audio System in Reaper you REALLY should be using ASIO if you can get it working with the Behringer. MUCH lower latency connection and more reliable. Also just try disabling Bluetooth for a moment and see if the problem self-corrects. If it does, you may have found your culprit.

Can't seem to put mixer as interface in DAW

Okay, I looked up that unit, and it's got preamps built in, so it's kind of a cool device. If it worked before and it stopped, you need to think hard about what has changed about your setup since it worked last. And it may come down to uninstalling and disconnecting the Behringer, rebooting, and...

Can't seem to put mixer as interface in DAW

I do not have any kind of interface like that, but pretty sure it's not supposed to be an input device - in Reaper it should be added at Options -> Preferences -> Control/OSC/web. Try that.

    Studio monitors buzzing

    I did chuckle maniacally.

    Winston sings in german??

I'm amazed at how well it translates. Sounds great, and good for them! And the German fans!

    All The Right Reasons

Keep rockin with Dokken. George Lynch was FIRE on the guitar. I almost got arrested with Wild Mick Brown, but we escaped onto the tour bus, where George's "Mista Bones" guitar was... Mick let me play it.

    All The Right Reasons

I think the fact that Ids accidentally referred to "pop music" as "poo music" says what most of us feel, at least about the CURRENT and RECENT state of pop music. Myself, I've been winding my way through Rush's entire catalog as a tribute. There's so much great material there, most of which...

These Grey Men with Matt pulling vocal duties

If you've wanted to hear how Matt's doing, post-recovery, here's your first chance. I gotta say, I think he's sounding really goddamn good.

"I wonder if Nickelback's fans have this kind of conversation about US?"

    All The Right Reasons

If someone gave me a free ticket, I would check it out, but they're not a band I would make a conscious effort to see. 25 years ago, I'd go if there were none better on the given night. Now, as I approach 50, the bar for getting me out the door and into the car in "outside clothes" is higher.

Advice on Tube Amp? (I'm looking to upgrade my old amp)

It's the "real amp" I went with, too, and I love it. Not enough to replace my AxeFX, of course, but it's a great, simple backup that sounds AMAZING.
