    Handy gigging tip – ALWAYS have 2 or 3 spare 9-volts (and any other batteries you use) in a gig bag you bring to the gig with you. I have a wireless that uses AA batteries – I *always* have spares in by bag, just in case. You never know. #beprepared

    @jak – that is correct. A cable being plugged in is the “on” switch for any powered on-board electronics, whether it’s active pickups or a sustainiac. I must have misread – I thought you’d already tried that. Definitely try the battery before wrestling with the neck!

    Also, if you’re not using your pinky for a particular part, it’s normal to not be able to control it very well. It’s like your tongue when you go to the dentist. Unless it’s introducing problems for when you DO need it, it might not really be an issue.

Any artist signature guitar is going to have a price premium on it, moreso when it’s got custom inlays and paint, so the premium on the Syn models is for that, or with the new Black Moon, the limited release also adds value by virtue of scarcity or demand.     Reaper isn’t her issue. It’s a hardware problem. The 2i2 first generation apparently has a serious limitation when it comes to guitar signals. Basically, it’s defective and borderline useless for guitars on their own. Really terrible, and I would expect more from FocusRite.
