    Hammer-ons and pull-offs on the high E string

    I can pull hammer-ons and pull-offs on all other strings fairly copetently, but I can’t seem to pull them off on the high E string. Does anyone else find this difficult? Anyone who can do them can you please give me some tips? Thanks!

    It’s all pretty subjective. Depends on what your personal preference is, but it all boils down to what Daniel said. If you listen to a great riff and it sticks in your head, then that’s a good riff.

    I started listening to A7X back in 2016. My first album I heard from them was their Hail to the King album, and Carry On from BO2 was the first song I ever heard from the band! That didn’t only get me into A7x, but the metal genre altogether.

    A good exercise is practicing your hammer-ons and pull-offs from your third finger to your fourth finger. It hurts after a while, but it will definitely build up the strength in your pinky!

    Pick slipping problems

    How do I stop the problem of having the pick slipping out of my grip? Do I just need to grip the pick tighter, or should I wear gloves when playing? It’s happened to me several times where my pick slips from my hand. Is there a technique to stop this from happening?
