Original Songs/Riffs

It started out half step down, I never knew this chord before it's E:5A:3D:5 and down to E:3A:2D:3 or with and open D into E:0A:3D2 into E:1A:3D:0 and last E:3A:2D:0 I guess those are the base chords. I can play a slow part to it as well, still messing around with it. I'm having trouble figuring out the chords for the melody part where I mess up. Btw this is my new amp settings, just got it earlier. Treble:0 Middle:0 Bass:0 Distortion:11. On my guitar I use only the top pickup and Tone knobs both at 0 and adjust volume for Distortion. In the comments I'm going to add the 2 other versions of it I recorded. Which do you guys think sounds cool? I'm trying to find my sound. Maybe you guys got some suggestions that could direct me some? I also have some trouble with writing, Thanks in advance!

This song is a work in progress. All original written and played by me. The last solo has a descending pentatonic lick inspired by Syn's Etude lesson. I never thought to play a 3-1-3 notes per string pattern before.

I wrote this riff years ago and since I'm waiting for my meeting to start I figured I'd explore it a little bit.

I came up with this awhile ago, though at the time it was pointed out I had a chord in it that didn’t mesh well theoretically, so I changed it. I remember when I wrote this and the emotions I had. I was feeling those emotions again today and decided to play it again. I wish I knew what to do with this because I do love it so much, but I’m stuck. Idk where to go with it and don’t have the theory knowledge to do so..... so, it shall forever remain a work in progress.....

I did a bit of a tone modification to try and make my sound a bit more clean rather than dirty, experimenting with a bit of dual/harmony, some arpeggios and a bit of a shred to a back track in D Minor. Dive bombs still aren't perfect, this is something I'm still working on but hope you guys enjoy this. Any points, tips etc are welcome for improvement. Gear: Guitar: Synyster Shecter Standard Effects: Line 6 POD HD500X (connected to PC) Amp My usual amp is a Marshall JTM 60 Watt Amplifier (not connected when recording)

Electric with my fingers, before I never liked it. I thought I should give it another try. I hope you guys don't get bored, it's a little long. Haven't completely worked it out yet, just made it up. First things first, I don't think my singing is very good here and I don't consider myself a lyrical genius at all but wanted to share this. Last year like April/may/June ish I wasn't doing very well. Right now I'm ok but have a slight case of the covid blues so I decided to put this out of the closet(never got comfortable enough with sharing this part of myself but it really existed for over a year). just did stamina and speed practice today and pre bends. did record much just this one. it's probably almost enough for a full song if I ordered it right. tomorrow again it's tuned dropped D mostly power chords except for 2 and i think it was the Dmajor and than another time i did the same D shape but on the lower strings so in reverse. almost all downstrokes with palm mutes in between

just turned my guitar on, some cool ideas, it's mostly hybrid picking, double stops and some hammer on pull offs to try and smooth it out and slides

Finally finished another lesson on the CAGED system, some are long for me. Bar 13 I got inspired and got the 1st. Bar 20 I heard this old song in my head went something like the 2nd and than on bar 30 for some reason I got the 3rd one. I kept doing the parts of the lesson up till after the string skipping part. Than today finally finished the rest of the lesson. It probably has nothing to do with C or something, but I thought it was cool.
