A few timing errors here and there but turned out ok overall. Also working on the Sanitarium intro solo, will post that up next time.

I wrote this in an hour. It's at 90% speed but I'm getting there😃 I forgot my guitar was in drop D and ended up with this jam.
I started with the Paul Gilbert 5 day challenge and I messed up so I wrote something resending a song.
Original Late Night Jam.
I really love incorporating tons of different rhythmic ideas in one riff, while keeping the notes somewhat on the simple side. Go give me a follow and drop a like!
Improv fingerpicking style of the old song The Wildwood Flower. Unbrushed hair and all. Using an Ovation through Boss Katana 100 watt. Some history of the song: “Originally it was a “parlor song,” a quiet tune meant for amateur performance in the drawing ...

Afterlife - Analysis

My progress on the advanced introduction to sweep picking lesson
I just made this video about where I currently am with the advanced introduction to sweep picking lesson. It was interesting to see this video for me as I can truly listen and see what I am doing. Any feedback is welcome!
I completely forgot that I made this one. I think I shared this on FB 1 yr ago and since FB likes to remind people about stuff we did 1,2 3 yrs ago, i saw this. I listened to it and felt only 1 thing. I don't make licks/lines like this anymore and feels so different, as if someone else made this. Ended up listening to the whole thing and liking it (felt wierd for liking my own song which i forgot). So felt I should share it

SLAUGHTERVILLE

An older upload of an even older idea
Excuse the bad quality. This is a part of a song I once started writing but never finished. It's something I still play so I figured why not uploading it here? I want to finish it someday. Edit: I just found a 3 minute rough unfinished version of this in my files but I don't know if it's worth uploading
I listened to Jak's Advice and moved on with the lessons. I combined the C chord in its different shapes with positions of the C pentatonic scale. It's not perfect yet, Chords still giving me trouble but it's a good exercise. Also the first of a couple I might do. I did play the Chord an octave higher because I don't like the open pentatonic position, so I played the octave instead.

Noodling day 2

Disclaimer: literally 8 minutes of me screwing around, so keep scrolling if you’re not prepared for the randomness lol. Seriously though, I really enjoyed noodling yesterday and figured I’d just hit record and play and go at it again. If any of my other beginners aren’t doing this I highly recommend it. Yes, this is only my second time doing so, but just recording myself and playing twice I’m noticing a certain feel and sound I keep going back to when I’m just playing and not thinking too hard about it, and I’m realizing this could be a great way to find MY sound ! ❤️ There’s also a moment in here where you can actually see my facial expressions change and I get a more serious look because I played a couple power cords and had an idea, and it was like I could hear what I wanted in my head, but had to try and figure out how to get it out.
