Here’s my starting point on eyeless by slipknot! I used to be so embarrassed to show my progress on songs and I have no clue why. but seeing so many beginners post no problem got me inspired! The rest of this year and next year I decided I’m gonna be strong and show my weak moments and embarrassing moments. Im not gonna let anyone or thing affect me from now on! I stumbled on my words a bit but I decided to let it slide cuz this does not have to be prefect! I used to redo my videos over 10 times until I got my wording right haha Hope you all enjoy!! So here’s my long awaited bat country update!! I haven’t played guitar much since last video I posted on here cuz my anxiety and depression wasn’t great and I struggled getting over another experience with a bad guitar teacher and feeling like I’m not meant to play guitar. I felt like I should be honest with you all cuz there’s no need to hide your struggles we all have them :) and I wanna inspire others to keep going during tough times! After a long break I somehow managed to improve a ton after not touching this solo for months which honestly shocked me haha Also a huge thank you to @[4668:@Alicia Willis] for making me believe I should be playing guitar and that I can’t let little things hold be back!

it's my new riff came up with these new ( for me ) chords it got inspired from the #aotm i think they're minor chords and honestly i don't know the names the drum part, i hit the hi-hat from the bottom going up was sitting there and suddenly thought "hey i never saw anyone do it like this and maybe it could be "my" thing"" it made me giggle. was a thinking out the box type thing the riff i started using one of the chords i got from the "6 Magic notes" contest/challenge, playing it out of order and connecting the dots i can already play it better now with more feel probably you guys can figure it out but if you want/like the chords i can tell you it's maybe the most interesting thing i made my a7x sweater is my favorite garment, it's great quality i got one sweater and a shirt

Ive had this old beat up guitar sitting around for years and decided to clean it up, swap out hardware, and install EMGs. I absolutely love how it turned out and now have something to hold me over until I buy a 7 string! Riff is from Shogun by Trivium.

Just started working on The Trooper today.

Made this back with my friends in my first band back in highschool we were together for a long time. I got a little emotional while trying to remember how to play this ngl it brought back lots of memories while remembering of them of that like time of my life idk, I almost didn't finish making/learning this because it was so overwhelming. I did though so i could look back on it again another day which was ironically also the name of the song. Kinda made me wonder if the guys A7x feel the same way I just was whenever they revisit old songs they wrote with the rev.

Started learning this one yesterday and I think this has my new favorite chorus, such a strong chord progression under those amazing vocals. Hope to learn it well enough to play it some day

Ever since I heard this song ive loved it, the first time I pulled up the chord sheet to it I just got discouraged and closed it, but the past week ive been working away at it. Keep practicing and playing what makes you happy friends :) (This isnt a great practice video since the song is a little overbearing and covers some of my smaller mistakes buts its something)

Learned it earlier this week from the tab book, the slide part was hard it took me a few days but I think I got the technique down some and maybe in the future can apply it somehow. First time playing a riff that tapped onto 2 strings like this and I've been trying it out and it's really awesome. I have a difficult time opening books and feel I should be strict with myself like it has to be note for note. What if there's VR tabs

Took a rest the other day physically and mentally forgot if I practiced a bit or not. This is some of my practice from tonight. My hands were already tired each time before recording next time I'll keep it rolling and edit it more. It's getting easier with the editing but the listening back is a bit tedious and time consuming sometimes. I continued with the modes lessons and on Phrygian. Not sure when I'll continue yet.
