Grips Of The Hallow

I think this is the song I'm most proud of writing. We just released it today. Check it out let me know what you think. Also feel free to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
Harmonic and hammerons need work, but it sounds better. Any tips greatly appreciated.

douce ambiance improv

I think this is by far the hardest gypsy jazz song to solo over so would really appreciate some feedback
New religion solo by bvb

New religion solo by bvb

This is a solo iv'e been wanting to get down for a long time it's not perfect by any means but i'm happy with it for the most part anyway.
So this is just a very simple cover I recorded just to get back into the swing of recording covers. This was a very simple song to learn, but very fun to learn, so this was a blast to play along to, so yeah needless to say I had fun just recording this and just playing it haha.
There's a few pieces I'm working on right now. This is an old one I've been touching up between breaks from bigger projects/solos. (Basically a Side-Quest) I probably won't revisit it again for a while but overall I'm happy it's improved a bit. There's a bend that needs to be more spot on and a following bend that needs a longer hold. Couple fraks/note farts I can clean up too. Otherwise I'm happy it's coming along and will visit again from time to time whenever my brain is fried from learning new stuff.

Metallica - Blackened

This one's a killer but super fun to play, almost have it to full speed but need to clean things up a bit.
Practicing House of Glass riff by Erra. I’m tuned a whole step higher than the original song and I’m only playing it at 75% speed. This riff is helping me improve my alternate picking across multiple strings with accuracy. The tab can be found here: https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/erra/house-of-glass-guitar-pro-3628346

Progress

Not perfect, but getting there. I completely BS'd the tapping part and it clearly shows haha. Going to have to look that one up, but everything else is by ear. This school has given me the motivation to really dig into these techniques and push myself to get better. Couldn't have done it without you all. Thank you and keep pushing.
So I have no idea what to title this, but this is just a little riff idea I had for a song I'm writing. I took a few days rest to..well rest my wrist, so this was just something easy to ease back into playing. Now I have no idea what the hell I'm doing when it comes to writing original riffs, but this was relaxing and fun to do regardless! Also apologies for the quiet audio, I thought I had boosted the audio enough, but it is fairly quiet, so apologies for that again!

Phantom of the opera

I learned phantom of the opera by iron maiden. The solos are a lot of bluffing but it's a really fun song to play 😅
Original Riff in the style of A7X
A riff intended to sound like A7X (to the best of my ability and the inevitable influences of other music that I like). Used Syn’s Axe Fx cab pack (the stage ir to be specific) paired with the 6505 axe fx amp with custom settings. Used a syn custom guitar with syn signature pickups tuned to drop D. Two guitar parts. Bass is a schecter sls elite. Drums were programmed with GetGood Drums.
Critical Acclaim Solo 1

Critical Acclaim Solo 1

Was working on a full cover of Critical Acclaim. Here’s the first solo section!
Shepherd Of Fire solo cover
I got my dream guitar!! There’s a few mistakes. Feedback is appreciated!

Improv practice

One of my favorite things to do is to just play over an existing song and improvise the hell out of it. I think this turned out pretty well!
I still need a lot of work on cleaning this up, but I’ve made some nice progress on committing this song to memory. I have to go back and slow down while practicing because the intended tempo currently trips me up. The last part also really messes with me because I’m having trouble clearly picking the notes at this tempo without them all ringing out and drowning each other. This song was written with an 8 string classical guitar, so I will need to transcribe the part for 6 strings. It’ll be my first time transcribing. Should be fun. I will eventually do a full cover of this song!

As a child I always dreamed of being able to play this song! Now I can even embellish upon the ideas! Always let it be known with hard work, determination an...
Robin Nolan wrote this solo piece for Autumn leaves and I figured I would learn it. There are some really tricky parts in this so some feedback would be very much appreciated!
As the title say, this is the first time I managed to learn part of a song by ear and I'm really happy!! It's a little step in the right direction for me. I was messing around with my guitar and hit a note that really sounded like the first note of the Welcome to the Black Parade Intro..I checked what note I was playing (yeah, I have to properly learn my freatboard 😬) and indeed it was a G note (emo kids know!!), so I went from there and tried to get the whole intro by ear. I think I made it😭🖤 of course, suggestion and corrections are always welcome!
