I learned Fermi Paradox, I kinda cut the outro solo short at the fade out but all the other bits are there 😅

1 week of practice. Battling a runny nose and unwanted string noise, but I think I have the notes memorized outside of a few mistakes.

I had a bit of fun and made a cover of Tribute

So this is the first Avenged Sevenfold solo I ever attempted learning. I started trying to learn this all the way back in December. I still am not the best at it andstill need to work on it, and get up to speed a bit, but I can definitely see improvment from December. I apologize for not adding the music in the background I still have to get some things fix so I can edit, plus it will give me a chance to work on it some more. But yeah I'm definitely glad to see even the slightest bit of improvement

Decided to try heart of fire by bvb for synner sunday.

Been working on this over the last couple of days, still needs a little polish but it is getting there. Nearly time to put on my big boy pants and have a go at the second solo.

Somewhat improvised solo with only the G string over a backing track I threw together in like 10 minutes

So I wanted to practice this cause I feel like I need to improve on alternate picking. It is of course slow cause I didnt want to rush through it. I made a few errors cause I not only get nervous in front of the camera still, but my pinky finger is still weak so training that bad boy up. But all in all, can't wait till I'm able to play this a little faster!

A two tone Robot? I was testing my new strings and practiced this for a few minutes. At first I was using only one finger than I tried to do each Did it sound like a robot kind of? It's what I was going for and probably after 20 secs it started to sound okay is this something good?

Solo challenge to myself I figured I would try something outside of my personal ability as I still consider myself a beginner. Will work on this for 30 days and see what progress I make this is roughly 35% speed. Feel free to leave any criticism. Always loved this solo.

I much enjoy this song my shoulder hurts I should where a sling for a long time but I like playing guitar gonna try to match the recording some too, i just heard it's different

Almost got it. This riff is from a song that saved my life and it's only fitting that it be played on Jimmy's Dragon Telecaster. Just gotta smooth out the picking and get Jimmy's groove down.

My own funk progression, I'm not good either

Just started learning this today, and while it’s definitely not perfect I’m really happy with how quickly I’ve been able to pick it up. The last few months I’ve really been focusing on picking exercises rather than learning many songs, and I can start seeing it pay off.

The first part I saw Joe Satriani do in an interview while warming up talking about when Steve Vai and him trained together. It was some time ago. I don't know a lot of their music. It may have been in one of the Guitar World Magazine Dvd's I had. I think it's good to practice because you switch between diagonal angles. I saw the shape in one of the recent lessons I did and remembered it. There's some pattern where it sounds okay connecting them but I forgot. To make the shape E:5 A:6 D:7 G:8 move that shape to different strings, up and down the neck and invert it too, to mix it up more. The invert would be E:8 A:7 D:6 G:5 Got lost after that, was going to try and show this hammer on thing to make the fingers more stronk Energy has been low, didn't want to talk now

I'm backkkk! So last time I posted my practice of the first half of this solo..seemed right to post an update with the whole thing. The second part is especially hard for me because it has a lot of bends (at least for me 😂)..Bends are still a work in progress 😅 Anyway, any tips on getting rid of that extra noise? I really don't know if it is a matter of practice, or if it has something to do with my fretting hand doing something wrong?? Any suggestion is appreciated! (I'm working on my rhythm and palm muting too with Enter Sandman, hope to post that soon 😁) Quick Edit for more complete infos: backing track is not on full speed, it is at approx 90%.
