hey people Been a lurker for a while thought I’d get involved! I’m 19 from England Uk been a guitar player for about 5 years now and I’m a huge sevenfold fan! I’m currently learning paradigm and after I’m done I’ll never wanna hear a metronome ever again!

Does anybody have tabs or just general knowledge of the higher solo? All tabs online are transcribed poorly and I physically CAN’T learn it by ear there’s so much going on haha, I’m aware it’s based around pentatonics and few sweeps but I can’t figure it out

My cousin is autistic and LOVES rock and metal. He has an encyclopedic memory of rock and metal facts. He has 4 sketch books filled with drawings of bands. Most of which I've never heard of. Anywhos, he drew A7X. I don't think he has the spatial reasoning to understand a left handed guitarist, so Zack is right handed in this drawing. He also drew Hendrix right handed. Hope y'all like it.

I play keyboard sometimes to switch things up, one of the things I like to do and on my guitar as well is piecing together chords or things I think sound nice.

What kind of chords are these and what do you maybe think of the sound?

Hello it's my first time posting a thread.
I'm 8 y.o. I'd like to share some of my first chords when I started to learn playing guitar 2 years ago.

My mom use Baby Chords or simple version of open chords (she read this stuff somewhere) to make easier for my hands.
I used only 1-2 fingers to make the simple version.
Example : Dsus2 for D, Am7 for Am, or third fret of the high E for G.

I used these chords for 2-4 weeks then when I was ready, I started using the "full" version of open chords.

Cleaned my guitar, tighten screws and changed the strings yesterday.

I thought maybe this could be changed too.

Hello, I've been wanting to get another pedal and was thinking about a Compressor, Reverb, Wah-Wah or a looping one.

The DAW I'm working with has most if not all effects and it's possible to record myself double in layers, still I don't know how everything works.

I think having a Wah-Wah is good cause I can't control the pedal in my DAW and only set it statically.

The looping pedal I thought would be nice to practice playing/recording stuff real time, so it's kind of like playing with another guitarist.

Leaning towards the Compressor even though I don't fully know how to use it yet.

Almost forgot to add that I have a Distortion pedal already so this'll be my second one.

When I got my Distortion pedal last year, I realized I could connect it to other instruments and I think the Compressor will work the same.

Not sure exactly what tones I'm aiming for but generally trying to mimic the ones from all the music I like.

Maybe you guys got some thoughts/suggestions and some insight/reasoning behind them you'd like to share?

Finally got everything I need for my home studio just waiting for a Dynamic mic to come in the mail and waiting for my next day off to clean out the attic so I can throw my work space upstairs

So is there any where that I could find pre recorded drum tracks? I found a couple of websites where I could buy some tracks but I wanted to see what other people use. But lets say that I wanted to do a guitar cover of Before I Forget by Slipknot is there anywhere that I could find a drum track for that song? Or would I be doomed to use my digital drum kit?

The foo fighters as a band inspired my drumming a lot, but I didn't really pay enough attention to the drummer himself. Wish I would have paid attention more to him but still, he inspired me more than I noticed..

Hi, I'm Matt. I have been on Synner almost a year with my other account @Shade and have decided to move to seperate account with my new email. I never really posted much on my old account but I may or may not post more on this one usually when i post it's to welcome another person into the community or trying to help people who have questions about what they're learning. I've been playing guitar and drums for almost a year and have been playing piano for 3 and a half years and recently started a band with my best friend as well as working on solo projects. My goal with this account is to try to be more active on Synner and continue to learn and strengthen any existing skills.
