Chorus riff v.1

Intro chords I suppose
Apologies for the bad quality, first time recording (with a phone)
I was to busy for Synners Saturday, sorry. BUT I still want to keep a quota of at least one upload per week, so here is something I've been working on for the past month or so... The lead parts of Whiskey In The Jar, so the intro and main solo. Im orienting myself on the Thin Lizzy version. For the most part, the Metallica version is just the Thin Lizzy version with more gain, but there are some differences, like the missing intro. I really love the solo, it's basically just a more fancy version of the vocal melodies, its really melodic. And from a theoretical point of view, its a nice combination of G major and G mixolydian.
Using what I worked on in my last $ynner Saturday post, I decided to continue working on some more Mario stuff, the Bob-omb Battlefield/Cool Cool Mountain themes, as it utilises the strength I've been working on building up in my pinky finger and hand as a whole! It needs work with a metronome, but getting the notes down is a good start! Then, I thought I'd briefly revisit Not Ready to Die from about 9 months ago (Yikes!). Turns out my sweeps are very much still rusty and need a lot more work. I'm still struggling to make it sound more fluid, yet I can mostly manage it when I sweep in the Mario Castle theme from a few weeks ago. Might be my next focus playing-wise, while I learn theory alongside it!
Sooo I don’t think the tabs I used are 100% correct but it’s Synner Saturday so fuck it...I do what I want 🤣 Got some new strings for Ruby today and had to jam a bit. Still been working on bends, pulls off and vibrato and this encompasses all three of those. I think the bends are definitely getting better 👍🏻 Happy Saturday y’all !
A bit late with the upload, I could have done a better job. Was working on standing, singing and playing something not too difficult. It was already late so I was focusing on keeping the volume low and how I speak. Had to go slow to try and get the timing right, it's tricky to sing and play. Not my first time trying, but I think I'm getting better at it. I will redo this soon and possibly attempt another set of vocals.

Unholy confessions cover!

I feel like I could play it way better now, so might have to make an updated version sometime this month
Practice some keyboard earlier, took me a while to edit, kept the camera rolling. It's still a bit long, I hope you don't get board xD It's probably not every good, I just started playing recently. I know the Major Chord
So here’s the song I learned today!! I’ve been listening to skillet like crazy lately and their one of my fav bands to see live! So I decided I’d do a cover of one of their songs! Enjoy!!
Mi humilde interpretación de esta gran canción!!!
Crossroads riff

Crossroads riff

This is one of the riffs i've been wanting to get down for a very long time and now i finally managed to get it down to a playable standard but i'm still gonna work on it until i get it down perfectly though😉

Seize the Day solo

A lot of bending... I love it! :D
So I was watching The Game Awards a few hours ago and the Call of Duty clip reminded me of this song. This riff is crazy and I really enjoy playing it, especially the vibrato and palm meeting; groovy songs are great stress busters imo xD. The notes I'm playing are from what I remember and what sounds right, just having fun. Yeah, don't forget to have fun! haha
This is a really cool set of covers I found on YouTube. It's a set of some of the best A7X songs where all the parts are preformed acoustically. It's really well done performance and edit wise. I thought the site might enjoy it, so I posted it here. To be clear, THIS IS NOT ME. All credit goes to the creator.
This is an in-depth lesson on how to find & remember all of the notes on your Guitar - the easiest way! The lesson also shows you how to apply the knowledge to Jam in any key. Enjoy!
The guitar sound for this track is my Marshall JCM 800 direct out from the FX loop with a Celestion G12-80 loaded cab IR.

Paradigm solo

Great economy picking workout! :D Instagram: simoneichingerx Gear: - ESP Horizon NT-II - Marshall JVM410H
Doing Time solo cover
Let's add some space to solo before the end :D.
This is a better take on previously uploaded video Synyster Gates inspired riff
Syn's tips for this lesson are to use ornamentation/embellishing in order to make your chords and soloing more interesting. This helps in developing your own style and making your playing unique to you. I took this as a challenge to use nothing but the scales/arpeggios presented in this lesson and turn them in to a song. This is what I came up with.
This is a Riff I came up with inspired by Synyster Gates I came up with this using Syns sweep lesson 4
This is a lick I came up with inspired by Synyster Gates I developed this inspired by sweep picking lesson 4
