Trills Exercise

Not my best demonstration, but still an exercise I hope some will find helpful! Particularly good for the left hand, this focuses on hammer-ons and pull-offs that you can add to your solos to make them sound cool without too much work! Just... don't do what I do and rush to try and get it perfect, because otherwise it'll end up really sloppy like how I do it in the video. Really need to work on these once I put the NRtD intro to rest for a bit lol
Shit's not gonna keep me from practicing! Or uploading. Had to upload it from my phone cuz my graphics card on my PC broke. Next up will be an original Intro I composed for a song of which I'm pretty proud of.
Short and snappy sweep

Short and snappy sweep

I have posted this because I would like to create a tutorial on the topic of sweeping and the CAGED system. This is just a very small example of what you can get out of the CAGED system. Hope to post in the next week or so. Cheers!

Seize the day solo

Seize the day solo

pretty good go and very happy with it. feel like the bends were nice. however, that pentatonic run ALWAYS fucks me up no matter how much I practice lol. But its nearly there! What do you guys think?
Here's a little speed picking exercise that you can add into your warm-ups to help improve with alternate picking, strength in your 3rd and 4th fingers, or just switching notes and strings! The notes are 10-7-9-10-9-7, and this is played on every string, going down. You could also go up if you wish, I didn't think of that until right now as I post this, lol. You can also probably adapt it for a pull off/hammer on exercise, but that's up to you! I hope this is able to help! \m/
Minha interpretação de um clássico da música brasileira. Espero que gostem!
Hello again everyone! I've been working on these exercises for a while, and I'm sure my left hand is sloppy, but I'm wondering more if my picking hand looks okay? Papa Gates talked about how Syn and many other great players angle the pick and tilt it back. I tried to find a decent camera angle that shows my pick, hopefully you can see it. If not, please let me know if there's a better way to show it. Thank you guys for watching!
Quarantine Jamz #6.....So long #Fakerighty
Finally learned how to unflip the picture and now ya'll can see me in my true lefty form XD. And also playing a lefty King's song...Albert King...Well my blues has a lot of growing to...PG's masterclass here I come.
First time connecting positions in a natural scale. Way harder than pentatonic stuff. Also totally new key for me. Figured all out by myself. The CAGED lessons, Syn's Tips and my man @[22747:@Chris Johnston] helped massively!
Beast and the harlot riff

Beast and the harlot riff

My progress on the beast and the harlot riff its one of the riffs ive been wanting to get down for so long I still think it could use some work though
Continuing from yesterday! So, there's still a lot of work to be done here. I've identified my new biggest issue, and that is my arm locking up. Watching over the video, I can see how badly it's affecting because a. The sweeps are not as clean as I thought and b. my arm is aching from being locked up. I need to really get that raking motion down, so more focus on that it is! Hitting the notes seems to be better. Me reviewing my picking pattern has helped immensely as I don't hit that open note as much (of course except when I video it! >:( ) but obviously it still needs some conscious work done. Pinky finger may also still need some work, and I wasn't able to figure out the pull-off that was recommended to me yesterday just yet. Also, metronome issues and just me not being able to count nor hear. Also, please excuse the cat screaming in the background. He likes to crash my recording sessions.

So Far Away (Solos)

Hey guys!! My name is Anthony, and @[5:@Jak Angelescu] has encouraged me to finally get out of my shell and post. I've been on the school for almost a year now, and I've incessantly battled the idea that I wasn't good enough to upload anything. But I suppose I'll always feel that way, so what good is practicing and grinding and playing if nobody gets to hear it?! Anyways, here is my first upload - So Far Away by the almighty A7X. Syn's emotion is so fucking good in this solo, and I hope one day I can make the guitar sing just like him. Any advice on bends, vibrato, or any feedback at all is always welcome! Thank you guys. Happy shredding 🤘🏼

Trying set me free

Not there yet but getting there
I like the idea of diddling something of your own in middle or in the end of a cover solo. If anyone else does this kinda thing let me know. It's the absolute best.
Normally wouldn't post stuff like this. Practising NRtD's first 8 bars of intro solo over and over again. It's not great at all, it's really sloppy. I've managed 45-ish mins practice today, had to skip yesterday, so it could've been a lot better, but my main focus was to show off my progress on my picking hand, as I've managed to change how I hold my hand (Thanks to Jak and Ben!). All comments and critiques welcome!

Hi litle practice on arpeggios . Sorry, i am stil practicing that stuff, so thats not clean. If you want, just ask, i can tab it and send it! Peace :)
@[5:@Jak Angelescu] and @[1427:@Ed Seith] took me a while to get it down but your tips helped me a lot! I actually believe it wasn't the top strings ringing out but my picking hand palm creating a harmonic-ish sound when playing. But I could correct that by adjusting my fretting hand like you guys suggested.
