I have been working with harmony parts, and how they work. I learned all the intervals… but I don’t understand how to apply that. It is not just X steps higher or lower…

So I've recently seen on the Avenged Sevenfold reddit page that there's discussion of 'We Love You' dropping this Friday and it's got me wondering:

What do we think this song Is going to be about?/sound like?

I'm really curious to find out everyone's ideas and predictions!

Does anyone know if there are any more lessons to the school part of this site? I finished the fundamentals of a guitar, that's been done for a while now. I'm not sure if that's it for the lessons atm, or if theres a way to get to more.

So I'm 47 years old started playing around the age of 16 but I play a right handed guitar left handed I'm so so at it but learning to do chords and tab has always been trying.
I have to do everything in reverse.
Is there anyway I can do things easier without trying to relearn ?
As I said I can play...not great but it's not impossible

I can’t say that I’m surprised, seeing that Deryck sold off all the rights to their songs and sold off all the gear / equipment he’s held onto over the years. But still makes me sad to see.
All things must end eventually I suppose. Maybe I’ll get to see them once more

Hey guys my wrist hurts when i try to play three notes per string pentatonic patterns is it normal at the beginning or its because of my technique?

Hi, I haven't been back on to the site in about a year. I noticed now the videos do not scroll or line up with where he is at during the lesson. Video 1 says it cant load which I am assuming is the video that would scroll. Also, many times the site wont scroll down so I can't see what to play next. Does this issue have a fix?

So I recently disovert some problems with my schecter synyster custom-s. The first problem being that I get microphonic feedback from my bridge pickup. I thought it was the pickup but a couple of days later my sustainiac also started to sound microphonic. My pickup selector also does some weird things where it seems like my bridge pickup sounds very quiet. It made me think that it might not be the pickups but maybe something else.
Anyone who can help me out with this problem?

It says on websites that on May 11-14 A7X is performing their entire Life Is But A Dream album in concert as a 360 degree experience. So are they playing the album before it comes out?

So in december last year i bought my sny standard. I loved it sooo much, but soon i had my 1st problem. Guitar pickups when switched just turned down low, and it was so random. Later i sent it to guitar service, and it was a switch problem, and it was easily repaired.
Now a couple of weeks back i discovered, and idk if it was always like that, but tone konb seemed to to absolutely nothing untill fully turned down. Idk is it supposed to do that, and if it is not do you have any idea what might be the problem?

Honestly i think this is my most favourite shred solo. Only heard it once and was hookes af.
Question is, how the fuck can someone play like that? Jeezuz. I mean i watch chris zoupas lesson in it and man plays its with absolute ease as well, but ughhh, i dunno how to get there. I mean ik i will get there, cuz some time ago, sweet chil o mine or *THAT* lick in tornado of souls seemed untouchable but now i play it fine( with enuf string oil) so, I don't know why i wrote this.....but i just felt like it ... sorry for wasting y'all's time

Bands like Led Zepplin and Alter Bridge use Multiple Guitar tunings on the same concert.
Can someone make a list of tunings used I still din't understand how they get away with multiple differently tuned guitar at once.

This day last year I made a post about being here for a year and I wanted to do another one for this year. Last year I left a message for anyone new to learning to never give up but this year I've taken that message seriously. During the months I was too sick to even think about playing guitar I decided to start reading about music theory and taking notes, when I came back I realized I lost the ability to play like I used to and had to start practicing a lot more frequently. Now I am almost back to how I was before I got sick and have been writing/releasing music nonstop. To anyone out there recovering from illness or just decided to take a break from playing and want to get back to it: Don't lose hope, You got this! If you believe in yourself you can do whatever you set your mind to!
