Finally back!! I’m more than excited to have time to post here again, a lot of road blocks came my way but I overcame them. I’m on my way to my dream career and have a schedule where I’ll have time to post on her and actually have time to play guitar in general I’ve taken the advice I got from @[94024:@JakAngelescu] a while ago to slow down when learning songs and get them down pat instead of rushing songs to post a new cover like every other day Been playing this song for about 2 months but a tad rusty since I haven’t played it in 2 weeks and I got extra nervous being on video again haha This is my first take on it though mistakes and all left in

So here’s my video for @[15432:@RoaringRowanThunderBender] one week challenge :) No amp still :( it’s still at the shop getting fixed but once I get it back I’ll redo this song with the amp :) I am super proud of this so far since songs where you pick single strings are really out of my comfort zone and I wanted a bit of a challenge. The one downside to all of this is I keep wanting to look at the camera to see if I look ok or that I’m not making silly faces and it messes up my playing lol gotta get over that haha

Here’s my starting point on eyeless by slipknot! I used to be so embarrassed to show my progress on songs and I have no clue why. but seeing so many beginners post no problem got me inspired! The rest of this year and next year I decided I’m gonna be strong and show my weak moments and embarrassing moments. Im not gonna let anyone or thing affect me from now on! I stumbled on my words a bit but I decided to let it slide cuz this does not have to be prefect! I used to redo my videos over 10 times until I got my wording right haha Hope you all enjoy!! So here’s my long awaited bat country update!! I haven’t played guitar much since last video I posted on here cuz my anxiety and depression wasn’t great and I struggled getting over another experience with a bad guitar teacher and feeling like I’m not meant to play guitar. I felt like I should be honest with you all cuz there’s no need to hide your struggles we all have them :) and I wanna inspire others to keep going during tough times! After a long break I somehow managed to improve a ton after not touching this solo for months which honestly shocked me haha Also a huge thank you to @[4668:@Alicia Willis] for making me believe I should be playing guitar and that I can’t let little things hold be back!

Hey so I’m back!!! Covid has been really rough for me the past couple weeks and I decided I was gonna take a break from the school and social media but now I’m back!! So here is my progress on bat country so far! I’m taking lessons with bill every other week and he asked what I was working on and I told him this solo and he said he would help me with it! Turns out I was playing parts wrong, no shock there since a7x tabs are so inaccurate lol so he corrected the messed up parts by ear for me and we started! He gave me easier finger placements and ways to play and that helped so so much! I got a long way to go but I’m so proud of myself!! Thought I would tell people that you shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help when needed! I was scared to ask for help with this solo but when I did it helped me improve so so much! Take lessons if you can and utilize all the tools on the school and you will improve so so much!!

I’m back!!! So I decided I wanted to take part in synner Sundays since I noticed and read on the Instagram page that barely anyone has taken part and honestly that’s kinda sad... So I don’t have my guitar with me since I’m out at my grandmothers for a few days so I’m gonna upload a video I haven’t shown here from a month ago! I wanted to show that I don’t just play metal and show I can do other styles! So I chose a song from the Beatles who are one of my fav bands that aren’t metal lol Enjoy! Love y’all

So as the tittle says I’m relearning the bat country solo after my terrible attempt that ruined me lol I was beyond sad that it was so bad cuz I thought I did amazing when in reality I did not haha thanks to @[5:@Jak Angelescu] for giving me hard honest criticism when I made that video! It hurt so bad knowing it wasn’t great, I literally broke down crying thinking I was not meant to play guitar but after talking with you, I realized what I was doing wrong and finally worked up the courage to try again! If anyone here feels the same way I did I’d love to say don’t give up! Things may get hard but just tell your self your awesome and That you will accomplish what your working on! Just take your time as long as that is and you will see amazing results!

So this is my entry for the contest. In my submission I go over what I learned from the caged system lesson 23. The caged system is all new to me so i thought I’d show what I learned. The reason I have the video in 2 parts is cuz I struggled to remember what I was gonna say for my music dreams and why I love the school lol so I took a day to think of what to say haha I get nervous on camera haha and it’s my first video of me talking and explaining stuff so it was scary lol (Also the first clip has crappy lighting cuz in the second clip it was all natural light, I had my curtains open and for the first clip I did it at night so I had to use my room lights )

So I decided I wanna do some non metal covers on here cuz I obviously don’t just listen to metal lol so I decided to do one of my favourite Beatles songs! I’m missing one part cuz I can’t seem to find a tab for it but I’m slowly working it out by ear! Enjoy ( also I know the bend in the beginning isn’t too good haha)

So I decided since this is syns school I should play some avenged sevenfold and I know that’s what everyone wants lol I’ve been playing bat country for about 4 years now and decided its time to share! This song means the world to me! It’s the one song all my guitar teachers told me I would never be able to play no matter how hard I tried! But I proved them wrong by learning it myself and damn they were shocked! I would stand and play but no straps I have will stay on this guitar lol I can’t even count how many times I almost dropped it cuz the strap fell off haha

Have been feeling really down and unmotivated, so I decided to learn a new song! I just started listening to in flames a few months ago and this is the song that got me into them! Enjoy!! Also I will most likely post a full cover once I’m done fully learning it

So I’ve had a really shitty day just haven’t been feeling right, anxiety had been bugging me and I felt a bit shakey but I decided why not give synner Saturday a go it may help me feel a bit better and guess what It did! So I’m here to say that music can really help when your feeling down just hearing a7x and playing along made me forget about my day and I just had fun! You’d never know I was feeling horrible before this video So if you ever feel sad or just not great pick up your guitar and give it a go! Also I know I forgot the vibrato lol I wasn’t thinking about that cuz yet again shitty day hahaha. Ohhh and I’ll upload a full cover of the song once I finish the last part of the solo

Literally 20 minutes ago I got the sudden urge to make a video and decided I wanted to play a green day song! So I literally learned this song in 10 mins and did this video lol I decided on this song cuz I find it so catchy and wanted to do a song most people wouldn’t know. Enjoy!!!

So here’s most of running away by Hoobastank! This song was introduced to me by my second guitar teacher in 2014 and he was pretty rude and only taught me the songs he wanted and told me I couldn’t achieve things I wanted but this was the one song he made me learn that I fell in love with and he was actually nice and helpful when learning this song So it kinda brings back one good memory from taking guitar lessons. Hope you all enjoy this cuz tonight was not my night this took 10 takes and I kept dropping my pick in the guitar lol
